Ark Royal (91) was designed to carry 72 aircraft, “actually” carried 50 to 60 aircraft (according to wikipedia), that’s still quite a few. I think the point of carriers would be to spawn aircraft for basically free.
Here is the Aircraft Carrier topic:
Braviy will solve that with it 10km no fly zone :D
My Scharnhorst has a 15km no bravyzone tho 🤣
Submarine launched missiles, not sure if the Germans actually tested it, but looks cool!
Braviy can hide like cockroach )))
Tell that to the countless examples I’ve ended…
What about Zeppelins and WW1 planes ???
WW1 planes are a huge +1 for me, as I want my Fokker Dr.1 and Albatros D.III. Been playing Rise of Flight and Wings over Flanders Fields for years!
Zeppelins could be interesting.
But this topic is about submarines
I would LOVE if WW1 got explored in its entirety for each vehicle type.
They just became submarines to hide before you xD
Of you are after realism, isn’t that as close to real as you can get? How many died in WW2 as a result from being on a ship that couldn’t detect or counter a sub?
check redit because my friend gets information there
but I emphasize that I don’t know if it’s true because I haven’t seen it either, that’s why I’m commenting on it here
helicopter carriers
Heli carriers would be good against subs but the question I’d ask is why bother with a Heli carrier when conventional carriers already carry helis? Unless you want to limit the number of aircraft spawns per carrier, depending on hangar size.
Make Heli-Carriers a earlier tier aircraft carrier.
But this conversation is better held in the Carrier conversation not here.
The only thing applicable which is what has already been discussed is the hopeful addition of the I-400 for the Japanese Tree.
uss iwo jima heli carrier (operates mainly helis but can also launch harriers)
Why settle for an LHD when you can have a CVN though?
OK I’m going to attempt to get this topic back on track.
How do y’all think that Gaijin will implement stealth for submarines?
I’m hoping for a system derived from the one in Battle of the Atlantic but slightly more complex.
