No evidence, but yes there is a possibility that submarines come on this december update (personnal beliefs). If yes, leaks will start like the next months or so. Maybe there will be no leaks at all. The issue is that the Ships didn’t had any big update/change since a long time ago now, and the gamemode is dying.
Big updates mostly come on december. So 99% sure naval will be updated and receive big changes on december, and this changes may be the adding of submarines.
Also the sub event took place in 2022 and had a great success upon the community, and even people that didn’t play war thunder came to play. So since 2022 they had enough time to work on submarines mechanics with gameplay and models. For me, the subs are ready to be in, or at least almost ready.
To be clear, there’s no direct evidence for a timeframe.
However, there is tons of evidence that shows that Gaijin is actively working towards adding submarines. A lot has been posted further up in this thread. Antisubmarine weapons for ships, depth charges for aircraft, submarine voice lines, and submarine spawns for naval maps are already in the files. So it’s clear that they will be implemented at some point, we just don’t know when.
There was even French submarine voice in the files slightly before the French navy was confirmed by Gaijin, so i have nice hope for subs being a real thing ingame “soon”
And since the last event was German sub, and than the older event there was no French sub ( sad French noises), this is good hope for subs in WT because it’s not just left over from older events, things are really worked on.
