Submarines - WT Discussion

Going to be very interesting to see how they play

Knowing gaijin they’ll do the exact opposite of what I’ve suggestion and make them straight ass.

I agree, but they really need to do something about underwater lighting.
I get that you should probably not see anything that deep and it would be unrealistic, but something like Sea Power where you can at least see a bit your hull when really close would be nice.

Right now it’s pitch black with that old TV grainy effect X)
Can have the same at home by just closing my eyes tbh

I feel having everything being illuminated by some form of Sonar would be cool.

Would be nice to have artificial lighting while underwater so you can see your submarine and terrain instead of it being on the top left of your screen in a small circle

I mean like the terrain and objects get like outlined. Not like actually lighting up the area. I can’t really find examples except maybe Fancy’s “Escape the Backrooms”. In that game there’s a pitch black level where the only way to get around is with sonar that outlines the walls and stuff.

Basically if it had slightly more light than it currently does I think it’d be fine

Disgusting. Hopefully never

It’s gonna have to happen sooner or later, there’s only so much now that can be added in terms of WW2 era naval. It’s been getting stale.

We can always go backwards

Age of sail.
But no I’d rather they go forward with it, it’ll all be the same style of gameplay and still stale.

I was thinking more ww1- 1900s ships that weren’t battleships but that also works

(Bramble class when?)

Does it work also for Tang? Because if yes so I must do something wrong. I still see Fort Knox in premium position.

Havent checked yet

But probably I do something wrong because Type VII also doesnt show for me :D

Have you added it to the hangar file?

Yes.

Not sure then
