Su22m3 is pretty bad

In my opinion the su22m3 is a bit to high in br, it can face f14a’s which can snipe it from across the map, on top of that its missiles the r60mk are not that good. The aircraft is very large and hard to turn, even an f4 can dogfight you. The single good thing about it is that it’s pretty fast. You have to options: 1. Give it radar missles and better maneuverability.
2. Lower it in br to 11.0 or even 10.7

If you can prove it had radar missiles and flew better than it does in game than sure. Good luck with that though.

Compression is bad everywhere except the very top tier. Push for decompression across the board, rather than compressing BRs bellow the Su-22

In itself the Su-22 is not bad, the problem is the br 11.3 is a lot, also considering that the other Su-17/22 that have more flares are in the same br, the Su-17/22 M4 which is its modernization It is in the same br, airplanes like the F-4E, F-5E, etc. have the same br, being much superior. The solution would be to raise the top tier even more, to 14.3 or 14.7 and be able to upload many more planes and achieve better decompression.

It’s an attack jet, not a fighter jet. Granted its usually a pretty easy target in its MM, but it never was meant to go head-to-head with fighters. And it never carried radar-guided missiles, doesn’t even have a radar to guide them in.

The problem the Su-22 faces is the same ALL ground attack/strike aircraft face. They were designed to evade the enemy, not fight them and suffers all the same. What is needed, is a gamemode better suited for them. Air Sim is awesome for ground attackers. DOA aircraft like the Tornado in ARB are very very good in ASB. The issue is, not everyone likes cockpit only and full real controls. So what is needed is an RB EC gamemode. Something designed to be PvPvE and something where these strike aircraft can be used in a manner better suited for them.

Ahistorical loadouts arent an option and if its FM wrong, then you will have to prove it.

Lowering its BR might be an option, but super-sonic aircraft that can carry 6x All-aspect IR seekers is something to be aware off, most super-sonic all-aspect slingers (like the Tornado) only have 2 at that BR, or are even at a higher BR at 11.7. In fact there are several sub-sonic all-aspect slingers with less missiles at 11.3. There is a good chance that those would need to be removed to achieve a lower BR and not be totally OP.

Tornado is my go to, and whilst it has recently gotten a decent buff with its CM pods being fixed at long last. it only has 2x Aim-9Ls and an equal or worse FM and is 11.7. I know the struggle. Probably the only reason the Su-22M3 is 11.3 to begin with is the fact it only has 12 flares. Balancing this aircraft is tricky because of its potential.

(jaguar GR1A is barely supersonic with only 2x Aim-9Gs and is 10.7. THere is no way the Su-22M3 can be 10.7 at the same time)

Source? Afaik it never carried any radar missiles.
