look at angle they are taken from. YF-23 photgrapher had to do really specific angle up close. but you can clearly tell that even front on, Su-57 blades exposed

I’m gonna be real, it doesn’t matter if the SU-57 could dogfight God and win, as Russia has only made about 2 dozen of them.
It is a wunderwaffe, because even if we do take what is claimed at face value, there simply are not enough of them to play any meaningful part in a conflict. In comparison, both the USA and China have produced and are capable of producing far more of their own stealth fighters.
Also, credible information on any stealth fighter probably won’t come out until we’re all dying of old age at the earliest.
Don’t waste your energy on them. If one them thing Stealth tech its like smartphone. The discussion its beyond pointless. They where talking about Shapes and hiding blade. That part of the tech hasn’t change. They could have argue that RAM tech has change. But you will never be able to know the real values of the RAM coating.
And is not like the Su-57 its perfect. The plane has a lot to “Grow”. But Russia its willing to keep upgrading it. But this people are beyond help. For example right now Su-57 still use the ball IRST that its a bigger problem for it RCS than the blade stupidity they were talking. And its not like Russia can’t do Faceted Surfaces because they has show them (Sukhoi)…

They’ve been doing missions since 2022 in this area, facing types of equipment that are currently in use by many NATO countries.
Even in small numbers, it still contributes to Russian operations. Non-stop sorties ever since 2022 isn’t what I’d call unimportant. It probably did quite its part of damages to the opposing army, and take into account that it also did it without ever getting shot down by AD/aircraft.
material, production and design tech allows for improvements in those areas. do you seriously think they could have made a production F-22 when they made the A-12/SR-71 with basic RAM
When the IRST isn’t being used it flips around, where the ram coating is, thought that was a interesting feature.
