I told him like a billion time, that there is a more potent aircrafts at Su39 BR or near by it, And the aircraft would be lucky if it manages to get to the battle field without getting… well, cut in half?
The point is, MISSILES DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WHICH TYPE OF AIRCRAFT IT BEEN CARRIED, it cares if it need them for actual deployment and necessary usage.
and that what i have been arguing all about, the Su39, And other relative or unrelative vehicles In all of war thunder, need to get their full military loadout and capability, for historical accuracy and Realism in military arming.
The Su39 Have a Radar pod ( Kopyo-25 ), its fully compatible with R27R, R27ER, and Even R77, It will be up to gaijin what to give it.
Eh… There comes a point where there is a detrement though.
For example, Jaguar GR1B could get 9Ls (might even be able to get 9Ms?) but that would likely result in a BR increase, but the better missiles would not actually offset the increased challenge from said BR increase. As it currently stands, the better buff for it would be a BR reduction, not better missiles and a likely BR increase.
Likewise I hated it when the GR7 got 9Ms and a notable BR increase, because imo, it was a bigger nerf than a buff, especially in a gamemode like ASB where you could actually do CAS which is its primary role.
I both want and really really dont want the GR4 to get ASRAAM because of the potential BR increase. Though would also be kinda funny
In regard to the Su-39. If it struggles to do CAS at 11.3 because it gets “cut in half” before it gets close. How will it handle being a higher BR.
R-27Rs would result in a BR increase, 100%. I can see arguments for 11.7-12.3, but im staying out of that. 100% it would not remain at 11.3 in ARB.
R-27ERs 12.3, easy. They are too strong, even from a slow platform to remain any lower than that.
R-77 12.7 maybe, probably 13.0 based upon aircraft like the FA2 and F-5TH being 13.0 because they have Fox-3s other than Aim-54.
So the question is. Is the Su-39 better off at a lower BR or a higher BR?
(Also then gets messier when you factor in people have paid money for it, and if it radically changed loadouts and thus BR, you may get something that you wouldnt have ever bought in the first place. Its like buying a blue petrol car, and then the dealership deciding that they changed their minds, and in the middle of the night without warning, swapped it to a red electric car)
Dynamic BRs would be a solution for this though, but I dont think Gaijin will ever add them .
the mig21 bison is at 12.3 with basically the same missiles but less of them

While i agree with you it may put it in a somewhat awkward position, BUT
In order for their addition a BR expansion is needed, which we asked gaijin Multiple times to do, so vehicles Like Su39 could receive their full potential in arm and armament, Including other vehicles in Certain nation.
A BR expansion will solve it, the more detailed the BR ( e.g 11.1 or 11.2 or 11.3 ) the more accurate BR placement and enemy it will face.
It Does not struggle at all in CAS, its absoloutely amazing, As a user of it, it completely annihilate a whole team, but the problem is when it comes to its own self aerial defense.
May be its a fighter jet with HMD?
Im not necessarily talking about GRB CAS here, but instead ARB, ASB and NE CAS.
11.3/11.7 respectively, vs 12.3-13.0 is a radically different set of aircraft to face.
And even in GRB, there is a reasonable chance that it would get a BR increase as well. R-77s could see it be more like 12.0 rather than 11.3.

Your not gaijin, your not development team, Gaijin is not that kind of a team that takes a final answer, and NOT In war thunder, Where a fake paper vehicle like the oerlikon got a APHE where no on can access the vehicle anymore.
or when they buff the Transmission on the E100 A none finished prototype, and they Still buffed it after time when they stated they wont Modify it anymore.
Su39 IS a Premium vehicle, ACCESSIBLE, They did not state before it Got a “final armament” , neither to all vehicles in game, they will still add, modify, and fix all possible and probable necessities in them.
We as a community, We care about balance, but balance without historical accuracy and Realism is not needed anymore, where a vehicle dont get its full potential, or other part of the game is not modelled correctly that will be a gaijin error, issue, we as a community we seek for such fixes.

Firstly, only the R-27R was discussed here, without increasing the number of R-73s.
Secondly, no, it can’t be a 4+4, at best a 4+2.
Thirdly, I think it makes the most sense to limit it to two R-27Rs to start.
Two R-27Rs instead of two R-73s. This literally doesn’t change its BR (see hawk200).

my total agreement, exactly, even if it was two R27Rs and two R73 its ok, and acceptable, it will provide it at least with some aerial protection.
It can carry only 2 R27Rs and 2 R73s…
