Su-39: R77,R27,R73

Hardpoints are standardised with standard types

if the older one had a Lightweight Hardpoint and the upgraded airframe Had a Heavyweight pylon then this is true

but you can still put all Lightweight Hardpoint weapons on all Lightweight and Heavyweight Hardpoints and you can still put all Heavyweight Hardpoint weapons on all Heavyweight hardpoints

but, it doesn’t matter it you can mount the weapon there, what matters is it the Avionics can use it there

if it wasn’t like this and Gaijin would accept mere Mechanical mounting then the Eurofighter could carry Twin AMRAAM rails on all Hardpoints including the belly one

That was my reason to ask those questions to begin with, i wasn’t sure if Russians reinforced those hardpoints on Su-39 which allowed them to install more munitions.

Ofc avionics plays big parts, without actual codes its pointless to install reinforced/more systems to airframe.

This is the first time im hearing something like that. Curious, where this claim comes from?
