There is no “other Su-39 variant”, Su-39 had a production run of 4 airframes, only 2 of which survive to this day in airworthy condition. We already have Su-25T that is equal to Su-39 in every single way apart from radar pod (that was added for aforementioned A2A capabilities that gaijin refuses to add)

Well they certinaily don’t bring attackers for air superiority, I’ve seen more SU39 going for bases and ground targets but I wouldn’t know.
Very few premiums are meta, SU39 is not meta for air RB right now as its an XP piñata, like most attackers.
Wouldn’t know really, just like the new Typhoon is called Typhoon (AESA), I’m sure Gaijin would rather do that than drastically change how this vehicle plays, specially since it would be more of a nerf than a buff.
I don’t know where you’ve gotten the concept it would strictly be 13.0 if it was to ever receive the RVV-AE, and it would have a theoretical maximum loadout of 6x total missiles. It would be a F/A-18C Early peer, Gaijin tends to undertier Russian premiums anyways lmao.

I don’t see how 4x r77s and 2x r73 isnt 13.0 worthy when the f-5th is at 13.0 with 2x derby and 2x 9m.
and the fa18c early has only fox 1s and 2s, no fox 3s
air to air load out would be 16x vikrs, 4x r77 and 2 x r73. very potent
The reason is pretty simple: the F-5TH has an exceptional FM while being pretty small, making it harder to hit with guns; a better RWR and radar than the SU-39; a helmet-mounted sight; better IR missiles (especially in ARB furballs); and it’s faster.
The F/A-18C (E) can be equipped with a total of 6× AIM-7P missiles and 2× AIM-9Ls, and when taking FM and maximum vehicle speed into account, it’s a pretty fair equivalent.
The Vikhr missile isn’t a dedicated air to air missile; it’s slow and hard to aim when targeting supersonic capable aircraft, and it’s only ever useful in a head-on, making it easy to avoid. That’s like putting a timed fuse on Zuni rockets and considering it an air to air ordnance.
I’d personally prefer if Gaijin gave it just R-27s, but I can understand why some people may not want the RVV-AEs to be added to the vehicle. It nonetheless needs radar missiles to stay true to real life and its developers’ intentions.

We were talking about being 13.0 worthy or not. The FA2 is a subsonic with no guns if you carry extra ARH, and it’s still 13.0. Also the FA2 is not quirky, it’s simply trash, just like it would be firing an R77 from a jet that is about the same speed as the harrier, if not slower.
I can’t be arsed to go trough entire GB tech tree for a single aircraft. But i consider getting italian AV-8B+ (yes, i know that it is significantly better)

It has the same loadout but with lesser quantity compared other planes in the BR, but in a much less capable airframe, making it so that its weaponry is not fully utilized and performs worse than inferior loadouts on superior airframes. For example, a 12.0 Phantom might kill a target before you since their Sparrows will travel much faster and for a longer distance if they are at altitude and with good speed.
Soviet Bias, combined with the slower nature of the SU-39, probably would just about squeeze 12.7 I reckon
