Su-39: R77,R27,R73

They don’t? Lmao?

Aim-9Ls were very strong, but have now been nerfed to be on par with R-60Ms. but R-27Ts have always been better and R-73s have been added and when fixed,. nothing will come close

R-27ERs are the best BVR hands down, easy. THere is no competition there

F&F AGMs is the only advantage NATO countries have in A2G, in all other respect all nations are equal

tf are you on?

The F-16’s weaponry is average at top tier, 4x9L is better than 4xR-60M sure, but its nothing special. The AIM-7M is inferior to the R-27ER by a LOT and it has 2 of them so it doesnt have a quantitative advantage there either over most of the competition.

Its ground strike weaponry is highly variant dependent. The US F-16A (ground strike variant) has some good weapons (GBU-8) but mavs are mid due to their trash damage due to terrible modelling by gaijin, and theyre unreliable since they like to lock the ground instead of the tanks.

The MLU has a mix of both sparrows and mavs, which makes it a bit unique, but its missing the gbu-8’s and is in the chinese TT.

The isreali one has P3’s which are the current best IR missile on fighters, and also has mavs, but as stated, theyre mavs, not that great.

The japanese F-16 is the best one, with the best F-16 FM, the mavs, and the sparrows, along with 9L’s. Weaponry-wise tho, its also technically pretty average, maybe slightly above average due to being good all around.

None of the F-16’s currently ingame have TGP’s so spotting targets, prioritizing threats, etc… is not ideal with them.

As for the F-14, the A has mid air to air ordinance, with AIM-54’s being a skill check for shit players, sparrows being mid, and 9H’s being rear aspect ir missiles. Its ground attack ordinace is dumb bombs and rockets. The F-14B is much better in ordinance, having 9L’s over the old H’s, but is otherwise basicly a copy paste in air to air stuff. Its better at ground attack tho with the LANTIRN and GBU’s, tho.

The current best ground attack options ingame are the M2K-5F with the DAMOCLES pod, AS30L’s, and either GBU’s or PGM’s, with decent air combat weapons (Magic 2’s are sidegrades to 9L’s, lower range, better flare resistance, super 530D is pretty bad atm but serviceable), followed by the M2KD and Harrier GR.7.

As for the new F-16C, its TGP is trash (LITENING II is trash ingame, but better than nothing) and otherwise doesnt seem to bring much actual improvement over the current F-16’s in-game.

You also seem to have this undertone that this is some kind of “America OP” situation, except, of the 5 F-16’s named currently ingame, only 2 are in the US tree, and both are specialized variants that arent really any better than any of the other ones either, which are all multipurpose, so less grind and more widely applicable. As for the F-14’s theyre pretty average as well in weapons loads for their BR.

not forgetting that israely one is lacking bvr

yeah, I was on the fence about adding that part tbh.

BVR is important, but unreliable rn due to gaijins modelling, and its not the F-16’s strong point ingame, since if the enemy is either a MiG-29, Yak-141, or F-14, or even a Tornado or F-4J/S, you have equal or less missiles of equal or lower quality, and you cant tell what jet the enemy has either until you get into WVR at sub 10km. Because of this, you have to assume the worst and be mostly defensive until you can confirm what you’re fighting, which puts you on the backfoot.

The Netz’s inability to really threaten things in a head-on prior to the merge is definitly a downside tho.

Well if the new Mig -29 gets R-73’s then I’d except this patch out beloved Su-39 will get them as well

eh not to sure of that, apparently the old teasers/trailers already showed the Mig 29s with R73 as well

True, but a big part of that was that they were new missles and the devs came out and made it known that the R-73’s at that time were unfinished and up in the air on implementation. Not I feel that there’s been live gameplay of the R-73, the devs are probably more confident in adding it too the game to see how it does on a fighter

At the very least it’s still reasonable to except the Su-39 too get the R-73

u mean the still bugged missle that needs to get fixed?

the problem i see i dont think it will happen this update maybe next one, because the event SU25BM gonna become useless right after its release? that is bad for their gajin market business they get a big cut out of those sales, and that is taking any reason to get the su25bm out, nobody would buy it if they can buy the su39

Well see, but I have a feeling it won’t be long before we see more R-73’S in the game

propably, that is why i am happy to sell the su25bm as fast as possbily and i am happy to get 30gjn, so i can pay for premium time and maybe this battle pass

Well, it has R-73s now

Better sell that event Su-25, cus it’s very useless now

yeah tmw, maybe they just are testing it, but looking at gajin how they are shoving everything into russias ass recently with the t90m leak on top of it, i am just exhausted how the game treats some sites

At this point, I was expecting them to announce R-77s for the Su-39 this update. with everything else soviets got. That just wouldnt surprise me anymore

You just dont get it, 80% WR is not enough. We gotta get to the triple digits

Im sure they’ll find a way to get into quad digit WR somehow :P

This game has been one giant social experiment too see how much longer until everyone just becomes a Russian main xaxaxa

Real talk tho: I can’t lie that I’m happy that the Su-39 gets R-73’s as R-60M’s we’re just dog**** at 11.3 on an attacker, but now I hope something like the GR.7 at 11.7 can get aim 9M’s someday to help keep it competitive.

Also since there moving up air to 12.3, maybe the Su-39 can also move up too 11.7

I am pretty sure that SU39 could go to 11.7 if Gaijin updates the loadout like this photo (Su39 could get 4r73/2R27/R77, at least 4 KH29T)

So far it seems Gaijin will only be implementing 2x R-73s but hopefully this number increases to 4x but we’ll have to wait and see.
