I was saying gaijin should add a “copy paste” Su-25TM in the tech tree as a semi-ungimped Su-39, which in the end I agreed that R-27R1 would be the best option, instead of RVV-AE since the latter would make it harder to implement.
We already had time period where 11.7 were forced to face Su-34 + Kh-38MTs, and it made lot of people quit top tier alltogether.

Fair enough, I kindda got lost with the back and forth at a certain point. honestly I would like to see weapons equipable like modules that change the BR, but I thing Gaijin shot the idea down hard cuz it would make them have to actually do work for balancing.

Su-34 has FAB 3000 as well as groms for a cheaper CAS spawn to carpet the map.
The CAS performance is ultimately identical, being able to dogfight doesn’t really matter.
It should not be moved down. We need more decompression for ground. Its crazy how at Jets below 13.0 can face jets from 14.7. With decompression SU-34 and other jets might be good again for cas
Ground needs to go to 14.7 the same way air does

You want it to be 12.7 while there is already much slower su25sm3 with much worse kit.
Also su34 has fab3000umpk and original appearance unlike other generic flankers.

This should have been done since they got added, limited to attackers as it should be.
Sure many fighters are multi-role irl, but that doesn’t mean they should have the same/identical CAS capabilities as an actual attacker.
I would love if Gaijin removed Kh-38 from any plane that wasn’t a Su-34 (Japan could be a little exception since they’re lacking an actually cool CAS aircraft).

The 3-ton bomb is next to useless because it will always get intercepted and you need to be way out of cover for it to actually hit.
The flight performance is also completely terrible and your A2A kit is bad as well.
Even if you’re doing CAS you need to defend yourself from enemy aircraft.
Su-30SM2 is just much better.
You have better flight performance, better radar and A2A kit while sporting 6 KH-38s and a 1500kg TV/GNSS bomb which will do you more good than the 3-ton glide bomb.

Except planes should be the primary focus a CAS player IMO. Suppose I am doing CAS and i see a rafale on my RWR, I cannot straight up ignore it since it is a greater threat then anti air as it could comes closer and easily kill me. It would also be a big problem for my team if it is doing CAS along with CAP. Well thats just my opinion
It’s crazy that they’re complaining about having several good CAS aircraft in the same BR while other nations have only one or none.
I kinda agree, but the KH-38 brochure specifically said they can be used by every su-30 variant.
