The SU-33 has about 50-60 countermeasures, the same for the SU-22M3, which has only 12. Considering that the Su-33 is practically at the top, and has so few means, it may not bode well for it.
What do you think about this?
If people can find proof of it having more, it would be nice to have.

planes like the mig29k only get 48 and afaik I dont think any further russian plane gets more than 96

The whole russian air tree is going to be pretty bleak from now on since they wont have a competitive BVR platform till the T-50 or Su-57 maybe the Su-47 would be alright but even if they added the Su-35S or Su-30SM right now they’d both still be inferior to the rafale, euro and F-15E especially since gaijin is for some reason unwilling to add the R-77-1 and i doubt they’d add R-33/37
Su-22m3 is fine as is, and 80 isn’t bad, I work with 80 in the Gripen, and carry all my BOL as chaff.
So 80 flares and hundreds of chaff… Compared to 60 flares and 0 chaff.

I rarely ever use chaff.
Bombing bus with only 6 uses of flares isn’t fine.

I have literally played it, you only really die if you aren’t paying attention.
I’ve played it as well and it’s a struggle bus.
It’s too slow to get to bases first in plenty of cases, has very limited flares and behaves like a bus.
IDK why that thing is at 11.3. people say its a good ground pounder but A-10 is at same br and carry 6 mavericks
For ARB bombing purposes it’s pretty slow so getting to bases first is hard.
For GRB though, it’s a dumb bomber at 10.3 which is far from optimal.
SU-22M3 is good at one thing, and that’s being absolute crap.
MiG-25 and MiG-31 with R-33 and R-40 missiles? (if they question is only BVR)
Too slow? Do you have “Auto-Sweep” mode on?
If you do, learn the Manual mode, because it never fully sweeps; I can usually get to 1.12 Mach with ZB-500’s, S-8KO’s, and six R-60MK’s.
It behaves like a bus at high speed because of its design, for some reason, it’s airbrakes are garbage, but setting sweep to 0% and hitting air brakes with throttle at 0% helps you slow down fast and get maneuverable, and definitely don’t carry a full tank, only take 18-20ish max.
Neither of those are going to be good in game purely because they cant go defensive quick enough and gaijin wont add the R-37M theyre both gonna be gimmick event vehicles or a shitty squadron vehicle like the Su-33
Eh, to be fair the “Defensive” for MiGs is going cold for they have both speed and altitude to do it with ease
They dont have enough time to turn around and go cold they’re in the same boat that the Tornado F.3 is in but worse also altitude is worse for going cold it just means the missile heading towards you is going to be faster
