Buddy what youre saying doesnt make any sense, sure 80 large caliber flares isnt bad, however neither of those have 80 flares, the su 22 has 12 high caliber and the su 33 have 48… not to mention that if you want to use chaffs you’re going to carry even less unlike the gripen that can carry houndreds of flares and chaffs more.

And it is still better than not having flares/chaff… again it is quite comical that you’re saying that “80 isn’t bad” using the gripen as a reference when the su 33 have almost half of that at best and you still have to devide them between chaff and flares

I rarely use chaff, I just notch and multi path depending on the situation. If it’s too close, I multipath, if it’s far out or slow, I just go for the multipath.
Ok, then you’re not using a giant tool at your disposal. Not my issue.
Chaff helps massively with this.
