It’s literally the meta lmao
Exactly, only time I do that with the current SM is to give the enemy a rwr ping and keep them from pushing me even more defensive
The aim120s are completely shafted? Is that not an issue to you? F15ex is a very potent aircraft that will likely be let down by aim120s again.
Looks like we have a Sherlock Holmes here.
No, typically it is not an issue so long as it is historical. The off-bore performance of the AIM-120s seems to be modeled based on historical British documents.
The rafale you shot at flew straight after making a slight turn, if he’d gone defensive it most likely wouldn’t have hit
There is no British documents on the “maneuverability” of the aim120.
How is that a good argument, you could say the same exact thing about any fox 3 shot, the missile had plenty of energy to hit him that’s the argument.
It seems like you’re the fool here for not understanding the satire I made in the post; it’s clearly a matter of skill, while my K/D ratio is higher, peak
AIM-120A/B guidance delay too short. // Gaijin.net // Issues
This report using British documents detailed the guidance delay of the AIM-120 and recommended nerfing the guidance delay, i.e. preventing the AIM-120 from maneuvering right away after launch further hindering the off-bore performance.
Why make a baseless claim that there’s no british document on the AIM-120’s maneuverability?
It did because it didn’t have to make much adjustments, you could’ve done that exact shot with an aim-120a/b/c, aswell
A derby/darter could’ve hit that with enough energy, energy come into play when the missile has to make a bunch of corrections to hit and that shit it didn’t, the more corrections the more energy bleed
First of all the guidance delay should only apply to the recessed under fuselage mounted missiles we have videos of rail mount amraam’s tracking off the rails.
Second and most important thats not even close to the main problem with aim120, have you actually looked how little they pull?
Here let me make easy for you: Why doesn't anyone seem to care about the aim-120 AMRAAM's lack of WVR Performance - #267 by KaslsSam
Holy shifting of goalpost
Deal with it
Hehe mine is higher in air sim ;) (not starting anything just friendly banter to a fellow su enjoyer)
How?
The last time I played simulation, I got massacred like a level 12 😢
I mean, feel free to make reports on this. The brits used historical documents. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the performance of the AIM-120 so long as it is historical, and on the other hand there’s no problem with the AIM-120 being buffed in the future if other historical documents are submitted.
The AIM-120’s maneuverability got nerfed after its introduction into the game after some historical reports on its ranges were made. It is very plausible that the nerf to the maneuverability was based on these British documents. Again, there’s no issue if it’s historical.
But there’s this report showing that the AIM-120 doesn’t have enough maneuverability on terminal approach.

You have been comparing it with aim-120’s this whole time so I did the same, I don’t know what to tell you but an aim-120 would’ve hit with the same if not a bit more energy due to less pull in that exact scenario
You guys are the ones claiming that the missile has no energy, then after I show the missile has enough energy to hit a target 25kms out after being fired from a Notch after that it’s a problem cause the guy didn’t go defensive and that’s the first shift then after that it’s about other missiles also being able to hit that shot and that’s another.
I’m done with this entire thread cause there is complete and utter inability of engaging in honest discussion.
