Skill issue, if you can’t see the deficiencies of AIM-120 with that number of battles you’re probably blind or ignorant
Did you happen to watch the videos before saying that?
I love both missiles and I can kind of agree that the r-77-1 is better, if you climb with the su-30sm and get speed you can get consistent hits at 30-40 km and be able to dodge most euro and f-15e spam but I can say the aim-120c is still a great missile at medium ranges it just lacks the close range pull but makes up for it in consistent energy through its flight profile
Don’t really need to, r-77-1 has enough energy to hit at bvr, if in your video it looses all speed in 6 kilometers it’s because of you not the missile.
And you think firing it almost 180 degrees is very OP? The height of hypocrisy and absurdity.
Let me introduce you to this insañe concept you fire it going straight and then you turn😮
Let me introduce myself, the others will do the same thing and guide their missiles while defending themselves, therefore the SU30sm2 will remain as it is.
- r-77-1 can absolutely hit fairly distant targets after firing it from close to a notch.

That’s where its range limitations will come into play as it tends to not pull hard untill it’s closer to the target which means it’s “hard 50g pull” is without burn so it does lose a lot of its energy, it can do it but it is pretty easy to dodge at that point.
My point is it’s fine how it is with the addition of the euros being able to notch while guiding as well as most of them don’t tend to get within those ranges were HOBS matter as it is now in the live
It will be easy anyway; shooting at such high angles is foolish.
Okay, I’ll entertain you, what is Gaijin doing wrong that causes the US to be subpar when it comes to late 4th gen?
It’s literally the meta lmao
Exactly, only time I do that with the current SM is to give the enemy a rwr ping and keep them from pushing me even more defensive
The aim120s are completely shafted? Is that not an issue to you? F15ex is a very potent aircraft that will likely be let down by aim120s again.
Looks like we have a Sherlock Holmes here.
No, typically it is not an issue so long as it is historical. The off-bore performance of the AIM-120s seems to be modeled based on historical British documents.
The rafale you shot at flew straight after making a slight turn, if he’d gone defensive it most likely wouldn’t have hit
There is no British documents on the “maneuverability” of the aim120.
How is that a good argument, you could say the same exact thing about any fox 3 shot, the missile had plenty of energy to hit him that’s the argument.
It seems like you’re the fool here for not understanding the satire I made in the post; it’s clearly a matter of skill, while my K/D ratio is higher, peak
