Skill issue. R-24R and R-27ER are the best SARH at their respective BRs. As for IRs. Mig23 holds major advantage with having all-aspect Vs rear-aspect only. And whilst the Mig29 is getting a little underpowered at 12.7, it’s speed compensates well.

I have played both with and against the BVM, the issue was poor modelling of the carousel (arguably still to this day) not ‘bias’

It’s a problem because there is no issue with the current engines, they are the real life (accurate) ones and the SM2 is likely being reserved for a later aircraft

Range and alt play a big part in it. But sub 8Km, R-24R wins nearly everytime and the IOG is very good

Because the current one is not incredible? It’s fat as heck, slow to climb, and only has a decent radar to show for it. TVC? Just a gimmick
