DL is still very useful for actually putting pressure on people at longer ranges so you’re not stuck being defensive all the time while they close the distance

I mean the F-15C GE only has it’s radar going for it, so fixing that should be a priority. It won’t suddenly make it a good 14.3, but it would at least make it less frustrating to play.
I think if you want to move up the J-11A and Su-30MK2 you would need to look at 13.0-13.3 as a whole, as they are far from the only questionable BR placements. Like if we move these 2 up the F-16D for example should definitely follow them to 13.7.
If J-11A had something other than R-77 i would absolutely agree with you. But with this missile there is no pressure to be had, at least not against someone who isn’t a little Timmy that bough shiny new top tier premium and asks in the chat how to use a radar

why would i fly towards R-77? It is not the hardest missile to just avoid, unless it’s fired at 20km or closer.
ngl r77 are dog, would prob work out well
You can notch so late against R-77s I love it, literally no counterplay for the other guy since i’ve had an extra 5-10 seconds to DL my AMRAAM/Derby/PL-12/MICA his way

Speaking of notching… MiG-35 is gonna be so fun, 85 deg gimbal limit and 77-1s will be such a good combo

Nah the AESA is fixed so worse gimbal limits (due to not having a gimbal), it’ll be an amazing radar though, very modern AESA

Did tbey ever uprate the engines on the 35, or are they still rd33s?
Eh I doubt that the MiG-35 would be below 14.3, you can already see how much Gaijin values ESA radars even if they implement them barely functional (F-15C GE).

People overrate the j11b. J11a is about as good as j11b/even better in its missiles and su30mk2 also shares this chateristic. In an average match j11a low k might be even better than j11b because r77s are better than pl12s
