Are AA4 really thought of being better than most?
Id put them flat bottom. You can dunk on a furball from 7 km like i do with r77s and nothing ever hits. R 77s are really good at this and sonetimes its a total strike. Not sure if AA4 have weak spash , bad tracking or iv just had bad luck…

Aam4 is just mid. Good at long range, mid at short range

You forget that J11B also has a MAW, but with a digital RWR
Needless to say the radar is insanely better, and so is the Flight model
The only area where J11A might be Better is missile department, but that’s literally it

Yeah but arb the digital rwr hardly matters. For sim it definitely does, but for arb? Spo 15 is better than a lot of digital rwrs because it’s a full spherical coverage + when paired with maws it’s extremely easy to know when I’ve notched a missile.
Come on wtf is that take, RWR is the single most important avionic above 11.3
MAWs is also extremely unreliable when you can’t see the missile, it’ll often ping on allied launched or dud missiles, and without a good RWR you can’t distinguish what’s what

Its worse than the flanker 13.0 due to confussion
One minute the ping is wrong direction, next its the mawws. Sonetimes the mawws is correct, sometimes the slice, sometimes both are good.
Which leaves you trusting the RWR like on any other jet but in reality its actually the most confusing POS iv experienced.
Yes the 13.0 is bad but you know its bad and play around it.
What puzzles me more is we have 13.7 flanker bettter in every way but sonehow the j11a should be same BR?
J11a - Worst 13.7 and now the worst 13.3. Maybe the premium slaps but the j11 deffo doesnt

I don’t know how you or other people have issue with spo 15. It’s better than digital rwrs other than the spherical ones imo for arb when it’d with maws like j11a.

It’s only used in tourneys because it’s the only option for British gripen. If gripen had r77 instead or mica they would use it over derby/darter

Maneuverability that’s why I like over pl12. Pl12 is a brick imo
