Nah the AESA is fixed so worse gimbal limits (due to not having a gimbal), it’ll be an amazing radar though, very modern AESA

Did tbey ever uprate the engines on the 35, or are they still rd33s?
Eh I doubt that the MiG-35 would be below 14.3, you can already see how much Gaijin values ESA radars even if they implement them barely functional (F-15C GE).

People overrate the j11b. J11a is about as good as j11b/even better in its missiles and su30mk2 also shares this chateristic. In an average match j11a low k might be even better than j11b because r77s are better than pl12s

Not really I feel like I’m right. Spo15 is better than digital rwr like l150 anyways in some aspect, and with maws it’s better than l-150.
People that say j11b is better haven’t gotten into those situations where the extra pull of the r77 really help in those close range fights against superior planes
I can’t say anything about PL-12, since I don’t have any jets armed with it. But I get killed by this thing more than any other missile apart from MICA. So I am cautious around J-11Bs and J-10s and respect their armament. But regular R-77 is indeed quite good at close range HOBS and shooting down multipathing people
IMO pl-12 is worse than r77, it’s just that their platforms are usually better than r77 platforms that makes it feel like they’re better. Like a pl-12 fired by a j10 is sometimes more dangerous because it’s a j10 firing them. Compare that to a j11b firing them and it’s not as dangerous because j11b is a lot worse than j10
I guess? Quickest way for me to get one is by getting Jeff, I think I am missing around 50k RP for it before I got kicked out of squadron for inactivity. That is if SD-10 is the same as PL-12 in-game

Yeah sd 10 is just export version of pl-12, it’s like rvv ae vs r77. Although jf17 is slow as hell

Pl-12 straight downgrade over r77 other than delta v. Its maneuverability holds it back compared to r77
It pulls a bit less AOE but has less drag for that and a sustainer while the R77 burns longer.
The PL12 booster has around 11k Newton more force but way less delta v (as it burns almost 4 times less).
→ in short the PL12 booster puts out more energy in 2.5 seconds then the R77 motor in 6 seconds.
That means over short range the PL12 accelerates way faster, while the r77 pulls a bit harder and has more speed left after the turn.
AKA: R77 is better for strong of bore shots while PL-12 is better for dogfights and direct engagements
So it rly depends on your playstyle

I just GE’d what i had left for it. Deffo worth.
Its a great jet. The sl10s or whatever they are called are great.
Good FM, good RWR, good radar. No complaints other than no HMD and low flares.
Miles better than the POS j11a.

They just aren’t though, the only place where the R-77 is remotely better is close range pull, everywhere else it’s less consistent and easier to notch, while also being on dogshit platforms for the most part.
Pl-12 on J-10A is arguably better than Amraam on F-16/5C at ranges below 40km, and J-11B is just outright better than F-15C imo

Well I think all amraam variants are the most dog water missile in the game so comparing pl-12 to amraam its obviously better.
