Su-27SM: Ferocious Flanker!

MiG-29 acceleration,MiG-29 Climb,

Awareness also gives an idea of targets and being in space, this does not really apply to survivability.

Su-27.There were no such cases on the MiG-29

They will not be able to lift such a missile to a height of 20km

Very close but still not on par with F-15.

It does wether you accept it or not.

Might wanna explain that incident?

What about their radar? Will current radars allow them to use R-37M with full capacity aside from firing at 20Km?

Give me the numbers

During the tests, the Su-27 broke off part of the wing. The plane began to roll. But the pilot managed to cope and returned the plane safely

The Irbis allows you to see the target from the RCS 3m at 400km.That’s enough

Data link my guy. The EAWACs aircraft are crucial to future BVR.
Thats why China have the Mighty Dragon and Russia the Su-57

Kill the support aircraft and it doesnt matter if its a Gen 6, if it cant refuel and cant use its weapon systems optimally its effectively a mission kill.

Numbers are on the internet, you can check for yourself.

Compare to F-15 how big was the part that was broke off? Cause F-15 basically lost its entire wing.

But will not be able to reach 400km due to limited flight performance.

Radar range isnt denoted by flight performance the Su-30/35 can comfortably cruise at 45-50kft

The problem is that Russia does not have that many AWACS aircraft (Only around 9)

Thats true and thats why they arent risking them as much in Ukraine. Russia also is setup to fight over their land. They have never built an army that is designed with power projection. Russia operate with the mindset they would be on the defensive with the SAM net, ground based RADAR and EAWACs systems.

Practically same as “Those so called kill scores achieved against quite old Mig-29’s and Su-27’s, if its true in the first place.”.
Yet y’know they will make one justifyable and one not.

Less than the F-15

The launch speed will be lower than that of the MiG-31, hence the range will suffer

The F-15SE can fly at a maximum speed of 2,655km/h. It can climb at the rate of 15,240m/min.
Mig-29 2,450 km/h climb rate 19,800m/min

Which is fair since they also have many ground based AESA radars

And which Mig-29 model is that?

You didnt specifiy Mig-29 while comparing to F-15E.

You also didnt specifiy wether both results are on clean configration or not.

Mig-29 9-12

9-12 is technologically inferior to the F-15 in almost every way

So you compared one of the lightest Mig-29 models to one of the heaviest aka F-15E with CFT configration.

No further questions.

What do you mean by that? The ratio of areas? Or a unit of mass per unit area.Reliability? How many times you need to perform maintenance per year. The operating time of a particular unit for failure. You have statistics.Don’t forget that these are two different classes of fighters

Specification of McDonnell Douglas F-15A Eagle:

Engines: Two Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-100 (JTF22A-25A) axial-flow turbofans, each rated at 12,420 pounds dry, 14,670 pounds at full military power, and 23,830 pounds with afterburning… Maximum speed: 1650 mph (Mach 2.5) at 36,000 feet, 915 mph at sea level. Cruising speed 570 mph. Initial climb rate 40,000 feet per minute. Service ceiling 65,000 feet. Maximum unrefuelled range 3450 miles

But this is for F-15C.

1000fps=304 m/s < 330 m/s Mig-29
