It wasnt on launch, but even after they nerfed it down to IRL levels. The calls and fake data to try and nerf it even more was hilarious. Thankfully the main instigator of those fake nerfs got a forum ban.
It’s still not accurate even now, what are you on about? It’s an approximation based off of a couple of publicly available questionable data points. It’s fine in game balance now at least IMO but it’s still not accurate.
its as accurate as we can get without classified data. But basically all the nerfs were along the lines of “this F-16 pilot said the F-16 can easily out-turn the Gripen, so the Gripen should be nerfed to the point where the F-16 always wins in a turn fight”

It’s accurate until they hopefully redesign their FM for more modern systems that are slightly unstable or inherently unstable designs. Hopefully this happens sometime soon as it matters for most of top tier now, and basically every new airframe added from here on out.

F-16C came 3 months before Gripen.
Tornado F3 came 9 months after its equal the F-14 or 17 months for the Mig-23MLD
Tornado Gr1 came about a year after the Mig-27
Buc S2B came about 15 months after the A-6E, A-10, Su-25 etc
The likelyhood is that the US and USSR would always get aircraft equal to the Typhoons rough performance at a minimum 3 months before actually adding Typhoon. Su-27SM and F-15C match its performance in BVR. Im guessing they’ll get another set of aircraft Sep/Oct to keep that lead going. So maybe December for Typhoon
F-15C from 1999 MINIMUM and Su-27SM from 2017 (original didn’t carry fox3 from what i found)

The C should maintain the same A2G capabilities as the A. And depending on refit, would have access to TGPs.

I am excited to see this added. I do hope they do for it like they did with the first Flanker and give it supermaneuverability in the Dev Server. I miss doing the Bell Maneuver.

The context was in terms of War Thunder, and the Rafale/Typhoon that would come to War Thunder.
We’re not getting AESA Typhoons and Rafales, and on top of that, the advanced medium range missiles of MICA EM and AIM-120 are just now arriving, which both Rafale and Typhoon use, and still do to this day, at least in training.
There’s no reason to bring up anti-Stealth missiles like Meteor and AIM-260, because they’re years away from War Thunder.
And obviously they’ll never be allowed into the BRs of current and soon to be added aircraft.
Similar to how AIM-9Ms aren’t allowed into lower BRs.
