Ok this is just getting ridiculous. R-60MKs facing 9.3s is insanely bs. Heck even 10.7 is kinda low for R-60MKs. Aim-9Ls are kinda oppressive aswell, but to a far lesser degree.
Why can’t Gajin do something good for the community atleast once?

I find the AIM-9Ls to be much better than the R-60M
Against higher-tier aircraft I 100% agree. The longer range on the Aim-9Ls is very useful. Against flareless aircraft, however, the R-60MKs are more oppressive as they’re harder to dodge and harder to rocket flare. They’re also carried by a better airframe, although the airframe itself doesn’t make much a difference.

Completely false. R-60M’s are far easier to kinetically dodge because of their lacking range.

R-60M/R-60MKs are easier to flare than 9Ls. Personally, I find facing them easier, as their lower range makes for a less threatening target.
I also think both A-10A and Su-25 are fine at their BR. In a full downtier, there exist jets like MiG-19 or MiG-21, which have a chance against them. Or maybe that’s just my experience from fighting against low level premium players.
OP mentioned flaring with rockets, which is possible on some aircraft.

R-60MKs turn sharper, especially with off-the-rail turning.
Tbf, flares and rockets do the same thing.
Personally, i would take much longer range and better flare resistance over better knifefight-range turning
A-10’s and Su-25’s aren’t that oppressive now, 9.3’s themselves are more oppressive.
If you want to deal with an A-10 or Su-25, here’s a few things to do.
1: Climb. Most braindead A-10/Su-25 players don’t even check above them, then swoop down and free kill.
2: If you find yourself in a head-on, try to pull off in a direction where the missile cannot pull into (bad explanation, i’ll do a recording if you want)
3: You can also turn off your engine temporarily with the “I” key and turn it on later. Yes its annoying but we need BR decompression to fix all of these problems.
Against higher BR targets I agree, but there’s still 0 reason on the planet for R-60MKs to be facing 9.3s
AIM-9Ls have superior IR resistance than R-60Ms, and AIM-9Ls are far more maneuverable.
So your post is just wrong…

They are overall more maneuverable. R60 is better within knife fighting but you should avoid that scenerio regardless.
Against any target for me. Same reason i prefer aim9d over aim9j.

I don’t think that’s always the case. A lot of things need to be rebalanced but due to decompression and your own personal biased it seems like other countries always get it better. I suffer from this myself but remember the grass ain’t always greener on the other side.
