Strv122 post nerf?

How is the strv122 tanks post nerf. I know they are still one of the best tanks of the br and i would say they were better than the t80bvm. Now that the turret basket thing exists and the strv122 survivebilty is a little comprimised. How does it compare to the bvm ?

It fairs pretty much the same as the German Leopards would fair, seeing as the 122s are uparmored Leopard 2A5 with native Swedish rounds

At least on the Abrams, the turret basket protects the crew, but due to the nature of Gaijin’s modelling a shot to the basket commonly takes out your gun and engine as well

does the t80 autoloaders still work as blowout panels

yup. Can’t forget the fuel tanks!

Yeah, you iust have to aim more carefully, but a round that reaches their autoloader usually also disables their breach

Fuel tanks seem to be the major T-series weak spot (at least from my experience, 90% of deaths are “Fuel Exploded”)

I shot a T-90M and the only thing that broke was his autoloader. He proceeded to beam my tank.

The T-72/90 has a lower autoloader than the T-80s do, so that makes sense

He’d said t80 autoloaders so thats what I was going off of

Alvis said something agreeable, apparently

Every Leopard 2A5 tank is better than T-80BVM.
Better armor, better ammo, better mobility.

Doesn’t matter these days, the autoloader has a part called rammer which is located inside the turret, so if you get penned in the turret especially the capula getting hit by autocannon, the spall can destroy the rammer which is link to the autoloader cassette so your autoloader is out when the rammer gets hit.

The fuel tanks (those near the driver) on the T-series blow (and kill the crew) up 99% of the time when they’re struck… unlike on the Abrams
