Thankfully the army specifically mentioned upgraded thermal sights in the section of the press release on their website which goes over the upgrades from the 122. “nya moderna sensorer så som värmesikten” - “new modern sensors such as thermal sights”.

Well, i was only going to point out the 123B, bc the 2000 essentially only had to constructed; nearly all of the parts for it existed, with the rest being modifications of existing parts.
But I don’t want to start an argument about it, especially not here.

What Sweden didn’t exactly have all the capabilities to produce… Especially not on a large number. It was a impossible and unrealistic program

The plan was to modify what they produced, purchase what they didn’t, and modify the purchased parts if absolutely necessary
Again something that’s not often allowed and that’s taking even assuming Germany or america would of sold a 140mm or the engine or literally yk anything they needed and it’s important to know Sweden wasn’t in NATO so they most likely wouldn’t of known of the German or Americans programs and sweden didn’t really have the capability to build those guns for themselves.
The program was simply impossible.
