Thank you ^^
I’m excited for the Trophy APS Leopards 2A8, with T-14 I’m indifferent, it would be the same kind of playing a 2S38, unless Gaijin throw everything on the bin and adds the 152 mm cannon variation,
Then it would be more than reasonable to add vehicles like the Leclerc T4 Terminateur, Pz. 87-140 and much others to sustain a counterpart to this variation,
Out of topic, the 152 mm is not very a reality, is more an idea. Never seen nothing official mentioning this weapon.
Not really but suit yourself up.
I don’t know for sure wether it’s worse or just a sturdier mounting method but it’s certainly different. It’s not related to the new hulls either because the 2A6(M)A3 add-on uses the same mountings as the 2A7V. According to Ralph Zwilling it’s called “duel add-on”.
The old add-on uses fewer big screws, while the newer has more and smaller screws.
Hopefully it gets a better TVD, I can’t see a damn with those 1st Gen Thermals on the Strv 122
Thats a very little detail to notice, thanks.
What are the approximate armor values against kenetic rounds, upper front plate, turret cheeks and turret ring? It seems to me that it should be able to withstand at least 800mm of kenetic round to the turret cheek area and more than 600mm frontal plate. But I could be wrong, could be higher values. However the side armor seems relatively unchanged so penning it from the sides will be as usual (older rounds being excluded both heat and sabot).
No idea. The only numbers i have seen are from the Swedish trials and i can’t remember them at the moment.
If you mean in game, again, don’t know, you can use the protection analysis in game to check the ones available in game.
If you can see lower front plate, 2A7DK has add on armor that inherited from 2A5DK but 2A7V doesn’t
Honestly the part where gaijin likes to play god and choose who gets what ammo, I’m kinda fine with. Even the “on god trust me bro” where a nation doesn’t use a certain ammo. It can be for balance reasons. Same with not giving a vehicle a round that they DO use.
I do however understand that not everyone shares that opinion as I know many people will want it to be 1:1 in regard to rounds they should have and do have.
APU
No, i have since checked and its more a name for all the components for the track.
I have now edited main post to reflect this.
Ah, damned confusing swedes and their strange language.
Aggregat usually means powergenerator in thr scandinavian languages
