You don´t even own it lol. As i said, first play with it,then talk. Pantsir is so easy to kill that i was shitting on em in SQB with S-24s on MiG-29A 9.12 after release of Pantsir before it got nerfed.

it is more than 5°

yes it is, there is only one part where it isnt, and thats the football area, whatever it is

I play Japan and they have -7 yet I never hear people complain about that all the time, yeah you get suspension to compensate for it at least , not without compromise, but I doubt many people even use it on average.

Either way most maps have plenty of flat areas and ways to bypass hills, the only thing you can’t do is peak over hills… so don’t do that.

this has to be a joke right? its radar can cover almost the entire sky

From what i can read that guy simply does not understand how it works.

Everytime i try to explain this to people on the forum it always ends up with delusional US players responding i mean this past day ive had one crying because he genuinely believes the challenger is better than the abrams ingame

Yeah people seem to forget how much worse all SACLOS SPAA are with the nerf its easier to just look at the max range and cut it in half because thats your true max range against a highspeed or manoeuvring target, beyond 7km the tunguska missile looks like a fireflash with how unresponsive and slow it is

He’s probably on about how finicky it is to use because it picks up literally every munition fired on the map so sometimes you’ll try to lock something and its literally just some random TOW-2 flying off into the distance

thats why irst exists

but yeah the radar does need some fine tuning to filter out those contacts

It’s just good ole’ Russian Bias. The options are few yet simple;

  1. Play only Russia.
  2. Stay out of those BR ranges and avoid it like the plague.
  3. Good ole’ uninstallation guide.

Gaijin isn’t going to nerf them, uptier them or buff the current contemporaries or add proper ones for NATO anytime soon. Their glorious Ivan technology must be uncontested, so options are limited in dealing with it.

The Strela-10 isn’t a MANPADS system either, it shares it’s name with the man portsble version but the version mounted on the 9K35 is a bigger missile, hence why it out performs the Igla on the ZSU-23-M4.

Why would they uptier the Su-25 its worse than its contemporary CAS it should only go up in br if literally every other CAS at 10.X goes up aswell which they all should CAS just hurts the game ultimately as it is currently

This is extremely funny considering the US still has the best overall CAS capabilities (inb4 crying about the SM3 and its 4x Standoff missiles compared to 6x standoff missiles on the F-16) the germans and sweden have the best MBTs and israel has the best heli

I have had some good success taking them out with my harrier gr7. You have to stay low and use terrain. Using agm65s against them is also possible as long as they are not a good player.

Strella is pretty good but it has 5km range and no searching radar

A10 is higher due to having agm65d and 4 aim9l. The su25’s guided missiles are very hard to use with zero zoom. The unguided rockets work best but will be harder to hit things at longer ranges.

2km less range, virtually same missile effectiveness, at a full BR lower. The Type 81 doesn’t even fit in a lineup anymore, and sits with the Pantsir.

Also for some inexorably stupid reason, weather affects IR sams more than anything else in this game. Cannot lock a heli until it’s 800 meters away from you if it’s ‘cold and cloudy’

Helis have some weird heat signitures. I remember not being able to lock a heli with a stinger past 2.5km yet i could lock an attack drone frontally at 2.7km

All helis are impossible to lock front aspect until 2.5km at minium any with HIRSS and IRCM drop the lock range to 1.9km

Yeah, makes littles sense. They need to rework heat signitures in game.

Its just an issue with helis all other vehicles are fine

Some aircraft would benefit from a ground up overhaul of IR signatures too. Though It would be nice if missiles werent so easy to defeat, that would only come about from an overhaul

Planes too. They have a distance where IR will lock even if the engine is ambient temp.
