The issue is with the implementation of Brimstone among other CAS weapons and aircraft, is that when deciding between realism and balance you have somehow landed on neither, as it stands the balance between CAS is the worst in the game and it doesn’t even have the excuse of being realistic to fall back on

My thoughts.
I like Eurofighter and Rafale, they should’ve been added earlier this year and NATO countries deserve it, no issue with that. My issue is how USSR/Russia is going to counter it in the Air modes (I’m going to ignore the fact that Russia has the best Kh-38 missile, best SPAA Pantsir and best heli Ka-52, I don’t care I am not a tank player that much, I care about planes and balance particularly in Air modes only).
Adding a Su-33 was…ok, I don’t mind it but certainly it is not balanced at all, its a gen 4 squadron fighter and we have 4++ gen fighters like Rafale, Eurofighter and 4+ F-15E that flies lightspeed 20 000 light years above the surface and its impossible to catch it unless using R-27ET from <10 miles.
- Su-33 doesn’t have Fox-3
- Su-33 has a moderate but old radar
- Su-33 can’t cruise at sonic/supersonic speed
Other than that we have Su-27SM which is near the 4+ gen fighter with weak Fox-3 (R-77, still no R-77-1, I’m not saying that Su-27SM carried R-77-1 but we need it on a new jet), its radar is bugged sometimes and it can’t see targets in front of it with TWS, it is bad at dogfighting, it can’t cruise at supersonic speed, it is overall worse. And russian aircrafts are getting nothing this patch to counter Eurofighter, Rafale and F-15E (ignore Su-34, its a bomber, not a fighter).
I was expecting to see at least Su-30SM with R-77-1, its the very basic 4++ gen fighter (a bit better engines, PESA radar Bars N011, can’t cruise at supersonic, loses energy quite fast at dogfights) and not as good as a proper 4++ Su-35S, which can be an overkill in some aspects but still, it would be at least something to counter these 3 NATO opponents, honestly I’m disappointed.
And yes, the fact that Russia has the best SPAA, Heli and Kh-38 doesn’t mean, that Russia should not get a good gen 4++ fighter, just because it already dominates in other aspects, its not my problem.

I would like to do it elegantly, because of the shelters. (Moreover, I still won’t be able to land the plane at the airfield and take another version of assault weapons after that). I will remain with 2 cruise missiles until the end of the battle.

Balance sometimes takes a bit of a back seat.
Just like how the 2A7s/122s have been the best and most dominant MBTs for a year now and barely anything was done by the devs to fix said imbalance.
So only real thing you can do is bend over and wait.
