Storm Warning - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Not according to Zaloga and New Vanguard. See Attached:
UD cast proof.

In fact, 52 of the first 145 cast turret UD’s sent to Pakistan were actually Soviet, not Ukrainian, if we’re being pedantic.

I don’t understand such a haight towards Chinese MBTs. Yes, they may not be the best in the game, but they don’t have any special disadvantages, except for slow recharging. The armor is quite good, good optics, very cool mobility. Yes, there are many vulnerable places, but this is a top shooting range, here all tanks punch each other without problems. It would be nice if the recharge was reduced, at least to the t80 level, but it’s already very playable. And they are beautiful, you can’t take that away.

99A was nerfed, it no longer has good armor now.
The base armor is now comparable to T-72B obr.1985, this is ridiculous.

99A has much larger weakspots than T-80.
It has slower reload.
Gaijin needs to fix it.

Not anymore

She hasn’t changed, how can she get worse? And the tank is more like a sniper, with its mobility and a cannon, it cannot get into the enemy’s sight. His armor is purely from accidental hits.

Lower turret area can now be penned.

Horrible 7.1 second reload, and the APFSDS isn’t even as good as 3BM60. It does not have good firepower. Especially now a lot of top tier tanks reload in 5 seconds.

It’s in the future mate, you got out of the time machine a little early.

I think they get a bad rap from the Chinese speaking community who thought they’d be 1:1 analogues of the USSR/Ru trees with slightly different performance and unique models.

I’m not exactly sure what’s different, but all the Chinese ground I’ve played has been very enjoyable. A much more unique experience than people say. Better penetrating rounds in many cases, slightly and then much better mobility, better optics. But oh well.

I am not saying that he is correctly and balanced, but he is not as bad as they say about him. It’s the same with the Abrams. He should have lowered the recharge, especially since there was evidence that Chinese engineers were refining the automatic loader. And as far as I know, the range in recharging even for the t72 is from 6.4 to 7.8 seconds, the developers just took the average value. For balance purposes, you can reduce the value to at least 6.4-6.5 seconds

No, it is because the current modeling of the tank is hilariously inaccurate, like some NATO tanks.

It has no spall liner which it does in real life.
The reload should be 6.5-6.7 seconds.
The APFSDS should penetrate more.
The base armor value is low, where did the 55 tons go to?

I’m not saying these problems don’t exist for other nation’s tanks, but these are big issues.
Especially when other nations have gotten buffs such as reload, while 99A have only seem to get worse.

Just leaving this here.
I will not complain any further, because I know that nothing will be done to fix it.

Its sad((. I like chinese MBT’s, they looks very cool

Yes, they look cool.
But I wish for Gaijin to make them more accurate, and that goes for all tanks of all nations, such as Abrams, Leclerc, Merkava, etc.

you will take your T-80 event slop and you will enjoy it!

the Kfir 60 is nice though

It should be in the tech tree, though.

I agree.
I think something like IAI Lavi might fit better as event vehicle.
But I’m not even sure if Lavi could use weapons in its prototype iteration, or it is another EAP situation.

It being the third non-tech tree variant of the closest thing Israel has to a fully indigenous fighter when there’s only one in the tech tree is horrible.

Gaijin decision making, it’s quite questionable a lot of times.

Would look kinda out of place since it’s from Columbia
