The new FAB-500T UMPK has a drop speed of about mach 2 afaik, so that one will be gtg. ISN’T TV guided however like I thought. GNSS only.
oh nice, if thats the case i think i’ll be running them in the center undercarriage pylon for sure. The 3000 UMPK is pretty nice but that speed restriction really is a killer, i think i would rather be able to stay fast over having the bigger explosion radius myself.

Again mate, I think everything you’re saying is reasonable, and I can’t fault the rationale in it.
I’m just off the firm stance that ‘unlocked’ Brimmy’s so to speak have got to be a no no until everyone, GB/GER/ITA included, get something that can reasonably counter the thing launching it from the ground.
You’re very correct to point out to me things like KH-38 / AGM-65 being examples of what I don’t want Brimmy’s to be, and how it can be perceived as a rules for thee but not for me situation. I just don’t want to go down the slippery slope of ‘x’ gets something that ruins the game, so everyone else should be able to ruin the game too lol. At that point, there’s no game worth playing left.
Once those longer range SAM’s come (hopefully early) next year, then I’ll be accepting with taking off some of Brimmy’s shackles.
Referring to the whole and meaning the majority or a lot is a very common thing that everyone does in some capacity. When you say “you do that all the time”, for example, you don’t literally mean that, but rather that that person does it a lot. This is the same thing. The majority of people asking for the Brimstone to be buffed want it to be FnF, not LOAL.

They’re FINALLY fixing the stupid auto ticket bleed in ARB.
However, sim EC kind of relies on “auto ticket bleed” for gaining points as the team that gets “cover bombers/attackers/survey plane” and stuff.
Assumption: Sim EC is gonna end up broken and objectives will only give point to the “destroy” team.

I think LOAL will be added at one point even though it was denied. There was word in the Q&A they’re going to implement heavier AA so weapons like Brimstone could be offset by these very long range AA systems. LOAL can’t be that effective if you can’t even get close enough (depending on what type of long-range SAM system is implemented and how it is implemented). It’s typical for something to be denied for a while until they develop a workaround or test it. I mean look at FnF, that went through its period of denial.

A: According to our data, the balance at the top ranks of ground battles is noticeably shifted towards aviation and helicopters, and this balance has become even worse with the introduction of top aircraft this year. The situation where aircraft can attack tanks from a safe distance with impunity makes gameplay more boring for aviation and less fair for ground vehicles, a similar situation is with helicopters equipped with long-range fast ATGMs, or “fire-and-forget” ATGMs.

- You remove half its speed
- You add a bit of lofting (it feels like it lofts a bit more than KH38, but not by much)

The laser one can act as GPS too, except if you get inside 20km of your target, you can guide it precisely near the end of its flight.
I feel like the GPS + Laser ones are going to be the strongest, even if they are not F&F.
IR ones would be stronger if the missile was faster, but imo slow IR missiles tends to be less reliable, as things can get in the way by accident (dead thing, house, trees), and they are easier to intercept for AA.
Laser ones can be launched as GPS, you can forget about them for a while, reposition, and laze whatever there is at the last moment. pretty strong imo.
In any case : it won’t be a fun party for whoever is on the receiving end, that’s for sure

yeah 1/5. that 1/5 updates last year was air superiority which was, drumroll please, the december update.
Except for the fact that the M44s and the majority of the non-German and Swedish Leopard 2s aren’t needed
the chance for a Release on tuesday is twice as high, for Wednesday it’s still 50% higher than thursday
I don’t see a reason to expect thursday as the release date based on the data you showed
and then remember the 20th is next friday, and that chance is extremely low
the entire game isn’t needed
it’s just a fun thing to play around with and so is the M44
it doesn’t take anything away from anyone and it’s a good Addition for a Vehicle in hostorical use for most nations
