i mean, you may be onto something with that. performance wise there is no reason to add the 33 to the tech tree and the ussr doesnt really have the max tier premium yet

@Smin1080p_WT sorry for the ping but with the current state that gaijin has for the Gripens can we expect to not need to grind any other gripens as gaijin will continue to add their MS20 additions? While also on the topic is their any reason they still use the MS17 radar and not their MS20 radar? Alongside why the additional center pylon has yet to be added?
I expect since Gaijin doesn’t believe in the MS series that only the Gripen E is the last gripen to be added?
The more I keep reading the sources, the more I don’t understand why we can’t get the Su-30SM other than PURELY just the issue with TVC.
First gen Bars isn’t even PESA. That’s the N011M that is PESA+. Why not give us at least a better radar that isn’t even game breaking. There’s really no excuse for them to not give the Su-33 first gen Bars at this point. If they don’t give it to us, then Gaijin really thought that it was a good idea to make a non-ARH carrying Su-27 variant a centerpiece of a major patch.
Warthunder doesn’t even fully model the ERA modules or their realistic physics. They’re hitboxes with armor values that have separate values for chemical vs KE.
Man I’m just tired of people going on and on and on about the F-18 like it’s some sort of godsend miracle machine that will overpower everything.

I think its nore just neat, wouldve been a nice addition to some nations but honestly EFT and such were better additions. I think aside from the US, only one nation could’ve benefitted from the F18 this patch. Realistically with the EFT and Rafale here theres no need to add F18 especially when the US F15E is definitely gonna be a better vehicle for the meta.
God forbid we get something competitive for at least another six months to a year.

I blame that and Desert Storm personally. The US Air Force and US Naval Aviation have been media darlings since (not that it’s bad, or anything, that was my childhood).

Still doesn’t change the fact that the US already got the F15E. No real reason they need another top tier jet. Would be a nice addition for a smaller update imo, kinda like if we got a trainer jet update since we could get the Hawks, Gnat, think yak 200 dont fully remember the name. And some more alpha jets would be awesome imo.
