Man I’m just tired of people going on and on and on about the F-18 like it’s some sort of godsend miracle machine that will overpower everything.

I think its nore just neat, wouldve been a nice addition to some nations but honestly EFT and such were better additions. I think aside from the US, only one nation could’ve benefitted from the F18 this patch. Realistically with the EFT and Rafale here theres no need to add F18 especially when the US F15E is definitely gonna be a better vehicle for the meta.
God forbid we get something competitive for at least another six months to a year.

I blame that and Desert Storm personally. The US Air Force and US Naval Aviation have been media darlings since (not that it’s bad, or anything, that was my childhood).
Ace Combat also really helps people enjoy the multitude of variants out there.

Still doesn’t change the fact that the US already got the F15E. No real reason they need another top tier jet. Would be a nice addition for a smaller update imo, kinda like if we got a trainer jet update since we could get the Hawks, Gnat, think yak 200 dont fully remember the name. And some more alpha jets would be awesome imo.

Of the nations who could’ve gotten the F18 most got the EFT/Rafale. So again no real reason to add it this update imo since the EFT/Rafale do the F18 job pretty well.
Never said it wasn’t.
I think we’d be toast without the Pantsir tbh. T-90M and T-80BVM are great, but they are hampered by the reverse gear and reload, and they are equals at best in GRB.
The Su-27SM and Su-34 and soon to be Su-33 are not equals to the F-15E, F-16C, Gripen, EFT, and Rafale the way that the T-90M and T-80BVM are (somewhat) equals to the 2A6/2A7/Strv-122+.
