Nigerian Air Force roundel?, it should be added into the rounders and insignias because obviously it is one
@TheAceOfAces
worth mentioning PESA cant do multiple frequencies at same time like AESA can (AESA harder to pinpoint with an RWR) or multitask like AESA can, though it can sort of do this by switching targets really fast but only in a2a modes iirc, and only the more mature PESA designs.
well in the discussion of that, 13.7 in general can be cleaved in half and dragged up to 14.0-14.3 god forbid 14.7 range if you move up 13.0 as well.
But realistically the BR jump will only be to 14.0
Interestingly, CAPTOR-M I think can.
Yeah, we’ll have to see, I sitll reckon to see F-15Cs to move up as well
so it should all just be a jumbled mess of western and eastern equipment, with countries like US and Russia only getting one? if thats how its gonna be, shouldnt US and Russia get best stuff of each respective sphere of influence since they will probably be limited to their respective ones?
maybe, but it outright cannot be better than on a PESA since an -ESA radar will always scan faster than a mechanical one
- MULTIPLE countries are already a jumble of equipment including China already, so that argument is standing on nothing
- U.S. and Russia have so much domestic unique equipment that it does not matter.
Will there be the early first made UAV for ground vehicles like Britain? It’s basically the de haviland queen bee target drone
If top tier does get bumped up to 14.0/14.3, I’d love to see the Mig29’s get R73 and a bump up to 13.0.
F-15C Baz Meshupar*, the F-15C Akef isn’t ingame yet. And the Baz Meshupar already had HMD, however it was “missing” Radar had due to the radar model gaijin gave it. It has since been corrected.
What use would an unmanned target serve?
Because they do have enough vehicles that other nations may never have, one day if Russia or US get Object 195 or F22, would you really hope they can get leopard2a8 or su30?
Kamikaze?
I can’t imagine they had the tech to control it with that kind of accuracy?
be a target
If we’re so worried about that we can just give:
- the F-16C its AN/APG-83
- the F-15C its AN/APG-63(V)2 or (V)3
- the F-15E its AN/APG-82(V)1
This should be more than enough to future-proof US top tier for a long time.
Not to mention, we don’t even know if the EF Typhoon and Rafale are coming with AESA radars. As far as I know, the EF won’t be coming with one, and the Rafale could come with a PESA radar instead. This means the US would still be fine overall, and the AESA radars aren’t 100% necessary yet.
If the EF, Rafale, and F-2 come to the game AND they all have AESA radars then we can start sounding the alarm bells. Until we get any sort of confirmation, the alarm bells can remain silent.
Charitable RP/SL/SP donation to the other side lol
for training irl
Typhoon wont come with AESA for a while, but CAPTOR-M is one of if not the best mechanical radar in the world. It wont struggle to compete with most AESA radars
Rafale probably will come with AESA, but their early AESA radars werent very good or something
F-2 should come with AESA radar soon.
But to be honest. AESA wont be that big of a deal and isnt suddenly going to make the matches into those with and those without. With current game limiations if you took 2 100% identical aircraft, with identical loadouts and the only difference was AESA vs decent mechanical radars. The AESA equipped aircraft isnt going to automatically win.
