Have you considered that stealth is a recipe that can be perfected, and therefore all jets that are stealthy have to kinda look like eachother.
Literally the only exception is plasma-based stealth and nobody has even come close to making that a legitimate RCS reduction technique.

Its not like China is the only one copying that design. South korean and turkish Fifth gen jet looks very similar to the F35.
