Our point being that we have already tried, it seems there is a motion against the ‘weapons for balancing’ rule in relation to Israel, since it’s one of the worst CAS nations in game, only second to Japan and Germany
okay coolio, hope we can see the Skysabre but with a 25km range I can see gaijin being iffy on if they wanna add it (tbf there was a 6km range jump between the pantsir and tunguska so ehhh)
Arguably one of my less controversial opinions on the game
It’s in the works as stated in the dev letter, probably with the CAMM and not CAMM-ER
Bring back the mech walker mode, the balloon sherman mode and mad thunder, those were the best modes so far
You don’t need to use Indian vehicles in your line up if you don’t wish too and can still run all British lineups. However they provide a varied alternative for those that do.
Neither Canadian nor Australia have a “British” playstyle either. Their vehicles are American and German mostly in terms of modern equipment. So the point doesn’t really fly either, other than again, the “East vs West” vehicle origin which is not a deciding factor in game.
Britain also had a direct hand in many South African and Indian vehicles too. Many of which are in game.
CAMM has a range of 25km and a theoretical range up wards of 60 but 25km is the missiles effective max range
Would you believe me if I said the AJ wasn’t the only top tier vehicle Japan received whose appearance is completely different from the actual design?
Spoiler
Yep, that’s what I said well done
Last time I said it a bunch of people got a little heated about it.
tbf I would agree if we werent forced to research through them to get to british options (the scimitar and fox being in the SA line for some reason)
oh sorry I thought you were trying to say CAMM-ER is the one with a 25km range my bad
I mean you can’t deny that in sim this ia quite a mess… if russian tied nation like china has access to a M2rage ik it kinda prevents players from clearly distinguish a faction to the other especially in fast paced close combat
This became an issue long before the Mirage 2000-5ei
There are already several reports about the Barak II not having AGM-65s, and the official response contradicts what you just said, they need proof Israel used them, not just that they were capable of using them, so despite the Barak II being a standard Block 40 F-16 capable of using Mavericks they still won’t be added. That makes this an issue of different rules for different countries specifically creating an imbalance between otherwise equivalent aircraft.
We are entering a time period where a lot of nations brought a lot of technology from a lot of different nations. Some of western origin and some of eastern origin.
Much in the same way of how there are F-16s everywhere, there are many vehicles like this, both on the air and in the ground that will overlap several nations.
The rules are all the same. As I said above, the Alpha jet can equally be reported with evidence it shouldn’t have a gun and that matter too can be reviewed. However if a technical possibility remains and can clearly be found, the weapon is open for suggestion.
There is indeed a seeming double standard, but I wish to stop pestering smin since its not his fault, albeit i would like him to know that the Israeli Air playerbase is not impressed with the current state of our CAS ability.
