Make sense but Planes so modern shoudn’t have a system that differentiate Friends from enemy?
Hungary wasn’t about Italy needing stuff, it was about adding Hungary to the game and Hungary wasn’t enough for it’s own TT so it needed to be added as a subtree.
With that in mind it shouldn’t go to USSR as that already has a massive tree so Italy was the next reasonable place for it.

Hungary could have been part of a Warsaw Pact or Visegrad based tree, but now it is most likely stuck as a part of Italy, who already have a lot of nations under their belt as the Minor Axis nation host

Yeah but moaning about C&P in 2024 is like saying gaijin won’t add rank 9.
Either people need to get used to it or just don’t play them, it simple.

That’s true, and it is still possible that they are moved to a tree like that in the future if one is planned, but there’s no guarantee that there are plans for a Warsaw pact or Visegrad tree

Well yeah, at this point we aren’t going to be seeing any new tech trees anyways, considering that Gaijin thinks India doesn’t have enough vehicles to get their own TT
Not in the leak doesn’t mean it isn’t coming (in general).
There are ~23 vehicles on the leak list iirc, add the 7 thai vehicles that weren’t on there you’d still have 30 vehicles. Meanwhile most updates this year have added 39-46 vehicles.
Then again, reading this after I typed it really really is depressing.

if we 100% go off leaks whats the point of devblogs devservers and devstreams
More tech trees just means more unhappy people every patch when their tree doesn’t get a brand new vehicle or anything particularly cool, also adding a tech tree now that isn’t just C&P is going to be several patches worth of work so if they don’t want to stop the regular updates a new tree will likely take over a year to develop
i am optimistic.
Although, i do hope that domestic and unique vehicles arent being reserved behind the paywall.
