Most recent T-90 purchase was by Iraq in 2018 and even they opted for T-90S with Relikt side-skirts and not T-90MS.
Maybe the price of MS is marked up a bit too much compared to S, in contrast to the advantage offered.
Chinese equivalent(s) are cheaper comparatively.
T-90 purchases have been halted by other Nations long before the conflict.
I wouldn’t say stronger than any of these for ground, with USA and Germany still having lots of potential alone and the Swedish having access to Nordic additions like a Norwegian K2NO.
For air German options are very limited, but Gaijin is looking into subtrees there that hopefully fix this.
Japan with an ASEAN founders subtree (not full ASEAN obviously) ends up with a similar amount of potential additions as the UK with South Africa and India. Though arguably there is more subtree content here, with Japan alone having less domestic options than Britain.
That being said, I don’t agree with South Korea as a Japanese subtree and think it should only be the founding ASEAN nations instead.
I am actually considering if a North Korea / South Kore subtree for PRC / ROC might be a good idea, since it is functionally closer to the independent tree than a South Korean US subtree would be, while providing China with vehicles comparable (if not superior) to the ASEAN Founders subtree I would like to see for Japan.
(I am mostly still trying to gather more opinions from Korean players, so if there is any here I would like to hear them)

Korea getting their own combined tree still works better than adding them to China, Japan, or the US
Personally, I think the best nation for a full Chinese sub tree is Pakistan, I don’t think they need more than that as China already have a larger number of domestic vehicles compared to a lot of other nations in game, at least from the 50s onwards, and Pakistan have a very close military relationship with China with lots of uniquely upgraded Chinese produced vehicles as well as their own domestic designs.

Korea in any form will be full of C&P, the Korean conflict is the textbook cold war proxy war and most all their equipment comes from the US, Russa, or China. In the end it’s no different to the Israeli tree really with only a couple unique vehicles but a decent number of unique variants

To me the difference is that its on a new tree.
Slapping a C&P to bodge an existing tree instead of adding a native option (one that might be unique) is entirely different situation to adding a new TT that might be made up of existing vehicles but in different combinations.
one of the main reasons why i want to add TT Pakistan to China is to play for free on the t-80ud, which gaijin for some reason made premium.
Yes, I agree with that as well, but similar to BeNeLux Gaijin doesn’t seem to see them as a worthy independent tree.
So instead the next best option seems to be to still combine the Koreas in another tree that has the space and need for a subtree, which in this case is China. There’s also the interesting dymamic of the North Korea subtree for PRC and South Korea subtree for ROC.
While for the Chinese, this fixes all perceived issues I’ve seen from them, the most notable being the lacking implementation of their MBTs that the K2 would definitely help.
This would also relive their need for Singapore, which then in turn helps the ASEAN Founders subtree too.
So it can help multiple nations. Now the only question I still have is the Korean perspective on this. I have heard some but not enough to make it worth a suggestion yet.

Here’s a cursed idea, why don’t we make Korea a subtree of Isreal, they have the most space available in their tree for a sub tree, they have almost no variety and they can both start at rank IV in the late 40s.
Geopolitics aside they would be a perfect fit.
