The MiG-21 Bison is actually quite fun
I think some of the data of the 9C is already in the files.
Dunno, judging by my experience with the MiG-21bis, I can’t see it being fun.
Anyways, point is, if I wanted to use a MiG-21 or a T-90, I wouldn’t be playing Britain, would I?
And judging by my experience playing the MiG-21 Bison, it is fun (I have also played the Bis and it’s mediocre with just R-60Ms)
And maybe not now but if you want to play Indian vehicles that is where you go, and there will only be more of them in the future. They have to start somewhere
The MiG-21 derivative I want the most is J-7G
It’s a lighter J-7E with better avionics and radar.
There are rumors that it can technically use PL-12. And it gets PL-8Bs + HMD.

Yes, that sounds brilliant
It would be funny seeing a MiG-21 airframe remain somewhat competitive with 4th gens in flight performance and some degree of BVR.

That may be the case now, after India has been shoehorned into the British tree, but as it has been said many times before, India shouldn’t be a subtree for Britain in the first place.

Yeah, the Bison does surprisingly well with R-73s and R-27R/T, plus the MiG-29(?) radar complete with HMD
Well, it is, so better start coming to terms with that reality
To be honest, I like the Jf-17 a lot more than the j-10 or j11. It’s so beautiful, symmetrical, it looks vaguely like a Hornet. Well, conceptually it’s straight f-16. I wonder if block 3 will be worse than j-10c? In theory, their electronics are identical.
You can argue that the JF-17 shares some limited lineage, but at that point it’s really a completely new fighter.
DSI intakes, engines, new wings and hornet-style LERX, radome, cockpit, etc.

The Block 3 JF-17 isn’t as good as the J-10C, unfortunately. Both in terms of flight performance and radar performance.
The J-10C has a massive thrust-to-weight ratio advantage over it. The radar being a domestic and not designed to be an export product will likely be better.
I mean, do the devs look like they’re going to change their minds on this one? I’m not forcing anything; I’m stating what they have already decided
