I mean early S-300 is basically in line with all these slap-job IRIS-T and NASAMS (mostly) immobile units people want as what they think is an analogue to the Pantsir.
I think it would make sense for Israel’s only native aircraft (Kfir) to be TT.
If it is an event vehicle, it shows how much snails care about the Israeli TT.

i dont one of the truly indegenous israeli planes to be event ,if a new event plane for israel is to be considered then they could put the mig-2000 there not the kfir block 60

israel could receive two kfirs,one for tech tree and one squadron (like how the swedes got the two new viggens)
Even though the R-27EA could theoretically exist, it requires the same radars that R-77 requires, so I really don’t see the point in adding it, other than that the missile could in theory, joust with the AIM-120A/B’s better than the R-77’s.
Whole community is going to lose their shit over it because it will be basically a textbook “sekrit dokuments/Russian bias” moment, even though it has about as much information available to justify it coming to the game as any other weapon that was proposed or produced in low numbers.

Exactly, and the IRIS-T SPAA and the NASAM and the Spyder and whatever else people keep talking about are not really intended to function as SPAA’s, and their ranges would now out range USSR/Ru SPAA to the degree that it would require another USSR/Ru SPAA. All I can really think at that point is an early S-300 or a Buk of some kind, and then again, we’re getting back to the whole integrated AD system, not an SPAA.

Yeah, I don’t think that immobile set up SAMs really work for war thunder; it’s a shame the US never developed anything similar to Pantsir because the Pantsir is pretty cool but with no counterpart it’s bad for the game.
we could use a new top tier premium or squadron plane for israel .there is like 3 variants of the kfir c10 so there wont be a problem for 1 to be a squadron with the rest falling just under the netz in the tech tree
to be fair they’re working on a Boxer based IRIS-T SLS system but that one will have a shorter range than the SLM we’ve seen used so far so it may fit in game

Again, the R-77-1 would be equivalent to the AIM-120C-5.
The R-77-1 should end up with similar range to the 120A/B while being more maneuverable.
The AIM-120C-5 would get slighly slightly less drag and fin AOA (smaller fins) but it would get ~10-20% more range.
The R-77-1 trades a small amount of range (compared to the 120C-5) in exchange for maneuverability. Without the 120C-5 as a counter, the R-77-1 would just be outright better than the AMRAAMs present in game.
