You hardly see gripen in the match, the overwhelming majority of matches are f16C and F15C.
The vast majority of matches are destroyed by F15C (US and Japan).
and you want to destroy one of the few planes that can play against the meta planes.
Su 27sm are destroyed in the match by the aim120, the j11A manages to be even worse, Mirage 2000 can barely fight BVR, Israel is in a very strange spot because they practically don’t have an f15C and the f16C is inferior to the American ones and the f16D uses derby.
The USA has never overperformed so much in this game and you are going to nerf the main plane of Italy, England and Sweden (which only has the Gripen)
The Gripen is an aircraft that only has 4 Fox 3s and has good survival due to the tons of countermeasures.
He’s not quite average enough to deserve another nerf.
instead of nerfing the gripen again, give it the double missile pylons ( one per wing) or the fuselage pylons
Those extra belly pylons and likely the twin rails on the wings (if it ever had those), are Gripen E upgrades and not something the Gripen A or C ever had.
That being said. It would be nice if they fixed BOL so it was even close to IRL performance and did some work on the Gripens other features, like Ground radar, MAWS, etc.
BOL is at a minimum 1/4 the strength it should be, but with regard to flares, they should probably be more like 6-8x stronger than they are now (possibly also missing wing-tip BOL pods or another type of CM pod on the wing-tip)
Gripen is also missing A2G weapons on its central pylon, not a massive increase, but that is 1 extra GBU you could carry
Its missing its MAWS and now in HUD IFF is a thing, Its missing that as well for its HMD (though shall give them at least a year or 2 to add that to anything else)
Its missing several A2G weapon types like glide bombs
Its radar is likely underperforming in A2A (as its just a blue vixen placeholder and the Gripen likely used an upgraded version of the blue vixen) Its also missing all of its A2G radar capabilies.
It’s FM is likely not quite right and possibly underperforming in some respects>

Well yeah, I’m aware of it missing things.
However, nerfing, much like progressing, is a relative word.
Going from missing to missing isn’t a nerf, that’s just inaccuracy.
Like saying you’re progressing your work while you’re meditating.
BOL was certainly a nerf, and one largest nerfs to aircraft that I can recall in a long time.
That single nerf has crippled multiple other aircraft and may very well force several much lower than they should be as a result. (Sea Harrier FA2 for example. Full strength BOL, probably fine at 13.3, at the moment… 12.7 is looking more appropriate)
I dont understand how they are thinking about the Gripen, its missing or lacking so many features but they keep making changes that are mostly negative for some reason. The aircraft should have been implemented close to or alongside the Rafale, F16C block 70, Eurofighter (early, tranch 1&2) etc.
