Stop Adding Unnecessary SPAAs

Just move the Skink to 6.3 and that’s both U.S. and UK covered. The TPK also preforms well above its BR, much like the Bosvark, so all we really need is a Japanese SPAA.

Doesn’t China currently lack a 7.7 SPAA?

Kinda sorta, China has an 8.0 ZSU with proxy fuses, but no radar SPAA at 7.7 like the ZSU or the American Vulcan cannon of sadness

Lol. What? The Skink is trash at 5.3 already.

42.2% superior minor nation winrate, so overpowered.

Cause the players playing it are garbage.

Sure, you could say that for the US teams and their premium. Just look the differences between both the two US versions and the UK one. The UK version is still doing incredibly poorly.

The UK goes straight from the Ystervark and Bosvark, which both have very high muzzle velocities, to the Skink. If I had to guess, a large portion of players try the Skink, miss every shot, think it sucks, then just go back to the Bosvark/Ystervark without bothering to learn its ballistics. If I had to guess, the same happens for the U.S. Skink, as players unlock it after the M19A1 and M42 which both have high velocity Bofors.

Nah, the guns are effectively the same as the AEC AA and Crusader AA Mk II. Just with half the magazine size and double the guns. Sure, there might be a small adjustment period but these are 20mm cannons people played before. Which is really the problem, Gaijin just overvalue CAS survivability.

The Bosvark has around 700,000 less games played than the British Skink. If that was the case you’d think the Bosvark’s games played would be higher, but you can see that the Bosvark clearly is the better 5.3 SPAA. With a higher winrate and better KD ratio.

Those are already very good SPAAs on their own.

I think yall just undervalue being literally immune to nearly every plane you face.

That’s a lot of ground kills for the skink, would expect it to do much worse actually

Yes, and the Skink effectively has the same guns. The Polsten is just a cheaper to manufacture version of the Oerlikon.

Also, I wouldn’t consider an M4A1 hull immune to every plane you face. If a player hasn’t learned how to use CAS against a Sherman chassis at any point between 2.0 (uptiers to M4A3 105) to 5.3 where the Skink is, that’s a skill problem.

The Crusader AA Mk II is ironically similarly armoured (in some ways better armoured) and I don’t see people complaining about that.

Gaijin: Yes exactly we are going to give another 12.0 anti-air to Russia, making it able to track 20 targets at the same time, able to carry 200+ munitions and has a range of 200km. The reason for adding this? We just tell them the sErVEr StAtisTicS of pantsir and buk is BELOW EXPECTION. Oh and btw, there’s definitely no russian bias at all :)

There is a very small number of planes which can pen a Skink, and isn’t extremely fat like a PBY-5H. Trying to bomb it is pretty hopeless if it isn’t braindead, and rockets are far to inaccurate to launch from a safe distance.

The only real counter to the Skink is just ignoring whatever part of the map it’s on.

I didn’t see anyone complaining about the Skink before it was added to America. It was fine when you only saw it once every few games, but now that there’s multiple per game, it’s starting to become alot more obvious that the Skink is not balanced at 5.3.

ANOTHER PANTSIR 🔥🔥🔥

And also something for the gap between 10.7 and 11.3, how dare they force glorious russia mains to use the 10.7 tunguska at 11.0!?

Because it initially was 4.7 when it was released.

Another 8.3 SPAA on the way.

Israel, Japan and Italy with no saclos spaa, thus no defense against LDIRCM.

They should be swapped around Skink should be below both of them.

The lack of French 7.7 SPAA is 90% of the reason why I don’t play the Surblindé lineup at all.

Soon into the game the sky fills up with C*S and I can’t do anything about it…

No, the Skink should be 6.3.
