Still no BR raise for ground?

So with the BR change we got BR 14.3 for aircraft, but for ground we are still stuck with BR 12.0 .Why does the Ariete AMV and the T-72B3A have they same BR as the Leopard 2A7? Why are all the Leclerc’s the same BR ect. Why are the new SPAA the same BR as the old SPAA?

The 10.7s are still getting sucked up into BR 11.7 games due to all the premiums. And because most of the 12.0 BR tanks are getting sucked up into BR 13.0 games with the top tier aircraft.

Unfortunately, Gaijin just wants us to suffer more on grinding…

We do need a major ground decompression from like 6.3-12.0 and bring the max to 14.3 like Air

Ariete AMV is a great competitive tank having DM53, high mobility, and a 5.3 second expert crewed reload.
Armor is not everything at that BR, if it was more people would choose long range maps to make armor more useful especially for USSR.

But getting to that reload requires a lot of time or money.
So it’s not a “standard” statistic.
I would say 11.7 would be a better br.

11.7 can’t be done anymore.
DM53, fast reload, and high mobility are all strengths of a 12.0.
Armor, as much as I’d love for it to matter, just does not in this case.

This is exactly why we need GRB decompression

Ground is already decompressed at 12.0.

Not sure why it’s becoming popular to lie about it being compressed when it isn’t.

Lol, lmao

If it was decompressed then 2A7 wouldn’t sit at the same BR as Ariete and CR2s.
Also, Click Bait and HC wouldn’t be at the same BR as Ariete and CR2s.

Nope.

Not something unique to the Ariete and exists on far more competitive tanks. This round also isn’t that powerful relative to competition anymore as many nations have gotten close equivalents.

Not true.

Doesn’t make up for the downsides when tanks like the Abrams are close to strictly superior to you in every metric.

Sure, but having exactly 0 of it is still a massive downside.

And spall liners.
You still haven’t answered how 2A7 and Click Bait are at the same BR at those vehicles I mentioned.

I feel like we need a couple for lower tiers as well.

1.0 - 2.7 is pretty much fine. It’s all small improvements. But then comes the first hurdle:

  • The jump between BR 2.0 - 3.0, 2.3 - 3.3, and 2.7 - 3.7 are massive. Even just a single new BR space at 3.0 (preferably two) and then push everything up would do a lot to help with new player retention. Even facing Sherman’s, T-34’s, Panzer III M’s, etc at those low BR’s feels like you’re fighting against Jumbos.

3.0 to 6.0 feels fine. There’s a few outliers, but those can be solved with just normal BR adjustments. Then as you said, pretty much from 6.3 onwards Gaijin should just extend Ground all the way to the new maximum Air BR and do a massive decompression. There’s tons of issues.

  • Late WW2 facing HEATFS and missiles.
  • Early Cold War facing APFSDS, laser range finders, and thermals.
  • Mid-late Cold War facing MBT’s.
  • Early MBT’s facing off against modern MBT’s.

You’ve got the mindset that the game is balanced around periods of the 20th century and not vehicle capability. None of those are issues if the vehicle is capable enough. Which is all that matters. We’re always going to have period mixing because each period of the 20th century had good vehicles and not so good vehicles. There will always be a mixing of technologies. Especially when a vehicle has large trade-offs.

I didn’t say there was an issue with mixing stuff by capability rather than era.

I’m just saying those are rough points.

I know, I’m just saying it isn’t as rough as people make out most of the time. People will look at a vehicle and like a tick list they’ll be tick off when the vehicle was made, does it have this or that or this… and then they never look at why it has those features at that BR. Why is the Type69 @ 8.0 with APFSDS and LRF? Why is the Olifant Mk1 @ 8.3 with APFSDS and LRF? Why does PT-76 get HEAT-FS @ 5.0? and so on. In each case, the vehicles have some major downsides or the shell just isn’t that effective to begin with.

I’m not saying the system is perfect, though. Don’t ask me why the Pz2000 is still 7.7, for example.
