“technical moderator” you mean the same people who claim:
-
F4D-1 didn’t use the Areo 13F radar
-
Diesel fuel explodes
-
F-104’s wings create 7x more drag than physically possible
-
TOW bearing vehicles automatically stow their launchers when moving (they for some reason actually believe that its automatic, when it reality it’s simply protocol, and manually done by the crew)
-
M163 can’t swim
-
Gau-8 jams
And countless American sabots massively underperforming, that they claim are perfectly fine.
he quoted it straight from a primary source that he linked. hes not wrong this time lol.

And everything I listed came from a “primary” source.
people resort to non sense when they are proven wrong and this is prime example of it

Yes, you are a prime example of it.
good thing everyone else can see the evidence

Yes, everyone but you apparently.
this is going nowhere because you cant accept evidence
bye, blocked

My whole purpose of showing the photo was to make people stop with this statement here. You can see when operationally the IR signature of the B-2 engines are non existent unless you are looking right at the engine exhaust.
So everyone can move it on their expert armchair opinion whether the signature visible at choose X distance is enough for a lock or not. I couldn’t care less about that part of the discussion because it is going to remain speculative until better proof is available.
like i showed you the stinger can deal with the ir signature of a small drone and can lock onto aircraft skin. it doesnt need to rely on the engine heat anymore
And there is literally no difference between the signature as far as we know.
for a lock on something like the f117 with a heat lock or b2 bomber you have to be either level with the plane or above most of the time youll be below where you cant lock it

non sense talk? considering the uv as addition to stinger it has no problem dealing with the f117
gaijin has it modelled correctly and we dont need to care anymore about the idea of stinger needing hot engines or hot plume
You are NOT seeing the engine heat unless you are directly behind or above the 117 is what I am saying.
As i said I don’t care about any of you other squabbles

okay cool. i however might not exactly understand why you are saying this as it does not have any effect on engagement considering the skin can be tracked.
Because people want to compare the heat signature from 5th gen supersonic aircraft to subsonic bombers in here and it needs to be corrected. Seeing the fallacy of “it has a jet engine bro it is going to be hot” is far from the truth and needs to stop.
eh. the other half of offender are guys who believe in stealth being total invisibility from all spectrums

Whataboutism is the response classic.
Stop with the engine argument I don’t care about everyones speculation on what signature is needed.
