So a Ozelot firing a AIm-9 killed my F117 at 12k feet?? My second flight with it a Pansir killed it within 10 seconds of spawning in. I was flying 45 degrees from it and I was in clouds!? How is that? I thought it had “stealth” capabilities? Why the false advertisement?

The stealth in the Nighthawk Tuah does not protect against IR missiles (which the Ozelot uses). Also, the Ozelot uses FIM-92 Stinger missiles, not AIM-9 Sidewinders.

The Pantsir uses SACLOS missiles so as long as it could physically see you and use IRST, it could guide a missile to hit you.

there is no way you should be able to lock a F1117 at 12,000ft with a stringer. This game is dumb. You can’t lock a enemy helicopter from 4k out, but you can lock an ACTUAL STEALTH FIGHTER.

The Ozelot has an IRST locking system iirc so that’s how he got a lock probably

it does not affect the locking with a stinger any vehicle with a stinger and no irst could have managed the same

IR locking and helicopters have been weird for a long time now and it affects all IR missiles, no idea why or if it’s realistic or not. But that’s just how it is in game.
(And I’m not talking about HIRSS systems, even helicopters that don’t have them are hard to lock)
Stealth doesnt make you invisible or invincible.
The idea that the F-117 should be totally impervious to SAMs is hilarious.
it was good against certain types of SAMs IRL, but not to all.

Well yeah, but 117 shouldn’t even see pantsirs. It should be effectively invisible to the radars of just about every spaa in the BR range
people will add it to the line up… lol im like just get the F-15 e or th F-16 and pepper them with glide bombs… :D

life is very shrimple int he night tuah. its just poo poo stealth doesnt work. saclos missiles will destroy you mostly and there is some IR stealth coating but its bassicly useless like its all very shrimple. also why bring the 10.0 jet to 12.0
