ok we have to clear this out then
im passing by your conspirancy theories
You’re literally repeating it lmfao
where? what do u mean?
Eventually I got an answer by a technical moderator to my question about artillery strike caliber and ammo type.
Its russian artillery 152mm QF-540 HE shell.
haha wtf… yeah just field repairs and good to go again. Try that on a non stalinium tank…
Theres videos of non-Russian tanks surviving worse and you ignore them…
You can scroll and find in the topic that i have said many times that abmormal incidents happen to other nations tanks too BUT not with such frequency as with russian tanks . Also about the ‘’ non-Russian tanks surviving worse’’ thing i have seen at least 4-5 occasions russian tanks surviving a direct hit by a sturmtiger and not to mention about heavy weight bombs…
That still doesn’t prove any type of bias?
It depends on what kind of proofs someones needs to be convienced and how willing is to be convienced about it.
You posting ‘proof’ of bias by showing USSR/Russian tanks surviving explosions any tank shouldn’t isn’t gonna cut it. You and I know that HE is buggy and inconsistent, same with HEAT-FS/HEAT and HESH.
There are countless other videos showing NATO vehicles surviving similar events.
I’d like to see them posted, you have any?
its easy …just type on youtube ‘’ war thunder bias’’ and you will see plenty of them …but for an unexplainable reason the vast majority of them concern russian tanks …i wonder why…?
That’s why I asked, there should be some obvious or even first hand examples if:
There are countless other videos showing NATO vehicles surviving similar events.
What this long post has establish is that there are issues that some times act most favorable towards Russian tanks.
I think the problem is the survivability of some Soviet vehicles in certain situations. For example, I see that the T-54, T-55, and T-62 have a surprisingly high random survivability compared to vehicles from other nations. Lately in this game, it’s not uncommon for your bullets to malfunction, causing them to do no damage, do very little damage, or ricochet absurdly, something that actually happens to all tanks. But I’ve noticed that the T-54, T-55, and T-62 have greater hull strength, meaning that penetration damage in many cases doesn’t go beyond the driver, leaving the rest of the tank intact. Another issue I’m encountering is with the T-64, T-72, and T-80, where firing from the side only damages the autoloader without detonation, or when firing at an angle, the track, side armor, and fuel tank are enough to stop an APDS-FS round, while other times you just kill it outright.
It’s clear the game is riddled with penetration and damage errors, affecting all nations, but some vehicles are more prone to them than others, giving it a Russian biased feel. The best solution would be to review all penetration and damage models, making the damage more consistent and thus avoiding these errors.
P.S.: As a side note, other tanks I’ve noticed that have withstood more penetrations than usual are the M48 and the AMX-30.
M47 and Leo’s as well
For example, I usually kill Leopard 1s with one shot. I don’t have enough experience with M47s to give an exact opinion; the few I’ve seen I usually kill with one shot as well.
OF40 maybe.
I dont see much difference to these posts point…
