I only see hitting the joint between front and up plate, if it was a bounce I would also think unlucky shot but it clearly showing that the shot skatered which it should not given the pen and the wheight of the ammo.

which case is the right one ?

A. Battle replay (Crew intact tank critically damaged)

Complete Bull Crap 7.7 Rus is Op as Hell you have

IS-4 at 7.7 completely pure Opness non can touch him except 8+ or Gang it
T-54-57 and T-44-100 again amazing Med low profile , trolly armor and ofc Nuke ammo
Obj 906 sure again Magic Vechicle
AAA you have choice to do every think with ZSU 57-2 you can even play as TD supporter
IS-3 and IS6 again amazing Tanks
BMP-1 sure
Obj 268 troll armor Nuke gun

Dunno if you know this but comparing to British 7.7 they can’t even pene you up front except light and AAA Rus Tanks saying is hard to play them is understatement

Armor in Rus extremely huge chance to richoshet in low br’s is a menace weak spots are to small comparing to other nations

So you have Nuke Ammo and Idiotic Armor vs tanks with High Pene but no spalling at all not to mention spalling stop at first module or death crew just lol

Then again you have Rus tanks crampet inside with crew that should die but they survive huge survivability in crampet Tanks just lol

4Kg HESH vs a paper thin tracktor that a 50cal can pierce.

every shot after the first was a killing shot according to hit analysis.
I even checked the replay to see if I was actually hiting or he was a ghost or something.

The damage model in this game has always been something that needed tweaking, but over the last few years it’s started to break really badly. If you play more than 4 games it’s impossible not to lose your tank in a game because your shot didn’t do what it was supposed to, ending up with an absurd ricochet or penetration with minimal damage, regardless of penetration or armor. I think only HE works correctly, after that APHE don’t usually give many misses, after that the other bullets are a lottery where the game ends up deciding what you’re going to do, regardless of the skill or advantage of the vehicle and position on the map.

Just asking…shouldn’t an ammo explosion have occured ? The amount of his APFSDS ammo is reduced instantly after the missile hit to minus one (24 to 23) but he only caught fire…

APDSFS on the T72 is a two stage ammo.
If you hit the projectile it would not go off, but if the charge in the autoloader get hits it will create a a catastrophic flying turret , or it should.

Dispite that the enemy view server replay screenshots show that its not a direct hit but a very close one (leathal too), the explosion is clear on the back portion of his tank confirming my view server replay and hit analysis screenshots for a direct hit , BUT NO HOPE AGAIN LOL!!

Damn… even the childeren know that direct hit with bombs but-out 80% of the time and result in only dmg to tracks (I’ve seen it countless times with Leo2 and other tanks) and you should aim to get the bomb near the tank, not on top of it…
but I guess this thread one of those “copium crusedes”
