Stalinium armor?

This would mean the same results could be observed across the full length of the plate, which isn’t the case.

You can pull your mouse from top to bottom and you’ll see that armor protection above the horizontal plate is ~60mm, directly on the plate itself is ~100mm and below it is ~40mm. Only a few spots are problematic, just like in all volumetric bugs.

wrong again… constantly 420 mm across the lengh of the horizontal plate above the track

actually you can see the plate on this screen shot

Look at the angle your shots are coming from. They quite literally come from below the horizontal plate’s line, which means the tank that shot that round was either much smaller than Panther or they haven’t been perfectly leveled, both of which aren’t true.

You’ll have ~100mm of armor on the plate across the board, with very few exceptions where armor value will spike more than twice, just around the place where my round in game went into the void.

Actually you can see both plates, which quite literally proves the shot came from below, which was impossible to happen from my in game example.

how a plate that fully covers all the width of the track which is 66cm* (660mm) can be ~100mm???

plates paralleled at your hit point …867mm armor

Plates clearly aren’t in line with your POV since you can see both left and right at the same time. If they were in line with your POV, one would perfectly block the other, since they are the same width.

You’re still shooting from down below. I wasn’t playing L3, I was playing 76mm M4A2 which is around the same height as Panther D and both vehicles were on flat ground.

The proof for what i am saying is that if we suppose that there is an equality of lucky surviving or no damage shots in all nations tanks, how can be explained the fact the vast majority of bias videos on media are for Russian tanks ?

This is really not solid evidence in the slightest. Nevermind the fact that this idea of there being some base “survival chance” is flawed from the onset, your evidence is fraught with confirmation bias. Are there more videos of Russian tanks bouncing/surviving because it happens more, or just because those are the only incidents people bother to post? If you believe that Russian tanks magically survive more than other tanks, are you going to care as much about bouncing off a German or American tank?

Shoot the either the head’s sides or front barrel area, and the commander breech, it’s most Sherman’s it’s weak spot.

And is that because it happens more, or they’re more likely to notice and post about it because they’ve been told that Russian tanks bounce more due to “bias”? First of all, we’re already ignoring most bounces that happen in game, as for a clip to be “counted” by you, it has to be experienced by a player with recording software, who is then invested enough to record said clip, then it has to be uploaded and seen by you. Do you see how this heavily skews your sample? Additionally, you already believe that Russian tanks have some bias that makes them more likely to bounce, so there’s plenty of confirmation bias at work here anyways.

You make me ask again and again the same question …why then the vast majority of videos on media about bias concern russian vehicles?

Teammate server video screenshots… ammo rack not exploding (again)

Because people are told that there is Russian bias, and therefore have confirmation bias for it. Do you record every bounce you have in a match? Or only the ones against Russian tanks? Do you know how this goes for the other players in your match? In all the other matches played? Do you actually keep track of how many bounces you have, or do you just tally ones against Russian tanks? How do you collect evidence about the vast majority of the playerbase who don’t post clips online?

Good thing Germany in WW2 adopted inert ammo as well. From 21:38 you can see Tiger 2’s ammo blacking out and disappearing into the void, twice in a row.

Man, Gaijin really has to stop putting german bias in their game! There’s a bunch of videos of the King Tiger not suffering an ammo detonation, so it must be true!

you are also told that there is russian bias but you and many others players

again you make me say the same thing …every nation has abnormal incidents never denied that but with russian tanks its much more common , its all about the frequency someone deal with these kind of incidents and that is what i think make players talk about russian bias .

I cant collect data where it is not exists its not my fault

You’re still trying to claim something that you cannot prove, pretty disingenuous.

USSR ammo goes black and do nothing - 100% proof of bias
Non-USSR ammo goes black and do nothing - Eh, nothing to see here

Yes, which is why there’s confirmation bias in the first place. If you think russian bias is real, you are automatically skewing the data to support your point.

This leads into the second point. Do you actually keep track of how often these “abnormal incidents” occur for you? Do you treat every single one with the same severity (recording/screenshotting it and posting it online)? Or do you only do it with Russian ones?

Then why are you trying to form an objective opinion if you can’t access the majority of the data? This is basic statistics. If I ask on the russian forums if Russian bias exists, and they say no, is that also valid then? After all, I can’t collect data on what every single player thinks!

You can get around this problem by sampling, but your “sample” (personal anecdotes and various youtube videos) is anything but random. Any data that is not recorded/screenshotted, not uploaded to the internet, and/or not seen by you is excluded. Think about how many “Russian bias” videos you see uploaded per day, compared to how many shots are fired every day in every match played that day.

Also, how will you avoid bias in terms of game mechanics? If I shoot a Jumbo 100 times in the UFP and fail to pen even once, but then shoot a T-34 in the side 100 times and pen 100 times, does that mean the Jumbo has a higher value of this magical survivability chance you claim exists?

we had this conversation before on the other topic …its my personal opinion as yours too and we both cant proove anything neither me that nor you , we both need concreate data that we cant provide
