First off. This change is absolutely amazing. You’ve made a DOA missiles into what might be one of the best missile at 9.7. The Harrier Gr1 and Hunter F6 that needed to be 9.3 are now well and truly 9.7 worthy.
There is this outstanding bug report for SRAAMs to get all-aspect and whilst for obvious reason they cannot remain at 9.7 with all-aspect nor could they go up to even 10.3/10.7 without flares themselves I would simply propose a compromise that maintains their current BR placement without pretending this report doesnt exist.
Expand the rear-aspect / side-aspect angles that the SRAAMs are able to acquire a lock so they could be fired at slightly sharper angles. Even an extra 5-10° would be amazing and really round out this incredible weapon system that we have finally gotten back after 3-4 years.
Would you like to see expanded rear-aspect angles as a compromise for the SRAAM instead of their all-aspect?
Not only do the SRAAMs no longer spin out randomly but they have practically triple their range.
On current live. Id only fire at a target that was further than 450m away and within 800m. On dev. I was firing at and killing targets nearly 3000m away and as close as 200m
I would take all aspect sraams, just as long as they gave the gr 1 its flares and fixed (would be a nerf) to the hunters to keep them lower. Would have an amazing fighter in the gr 1 and a decent lower br option in the hunter. 10.3 hunter (join the other cancer that is the mf/smt and so on) with the gr 1 going to 10.7 or 11.0 depending on how much more they decide to fix (buff) the harriers.
