Do you want to destroy the framework of countries that are divided all the way? Why bother implementing the Russian MBT in a hostile state? It is not as if there are no other candidates. I really don’t understand what you mean, as there are many people in the survey who would prefer to go to a country other than the UK. And I am firmly against it. There is clear options with Brits and Russia,but dunno what other nation is really an option.
Maybe Japan and make this massive “Far-East tech tree”.

No, just no. That is not what that thread is about.
It is mainly about giving Britain some other squadron vehicle.
Funniest thing is that there was bigger outcry after last patch about T-90S not getting added to British tree then there was and is now about adding it.
UK needs squadron vehicle and this model is ready and it gives people who play Britain something interesting to play.

If that had been the case, there would have been a choice of the Indian-made Arjun or the Challenger Falcon, the leader in the survey, instead of the Russian-made T-90S. I think the blame is for not adding the SV, not for not adding the T-90S.

I hate these type of additions.
Britain’s top-tier MBTs are generally niche and are typically geared towards methodical combat engagements.
TTs are supposed to be different from one another. Soviet style MBTs have their pros and cons just like western. The variety is what makes the game enjoyable. Putting Russian or US tanks in every tree takes away from the uniqueness of each nation.
If you made a list of vehicles that are needed for each TT this would be nowhere near the top.
You admit Britain needs IFVs, light tanks. Japan needs SPAA, France needs IFVs, Israel needs everything, etc., etc.
It all boils down to the bottom line. It’s most cost effective to work on vehicles that can be copy+pasted with minimal effort into multiple trees instead of dedicating the man hours for a vehicle that will only go into 1 tree.
That’s why we see things like the F-16J, a bruchure plane, instead of a prototype XF-2A which would require a unique model.
Adding vehicles from the USA, Russia or even Germany to other nations should be an absolute last resort.
Edit: just to be clear I am not arguing that UK doesn’t need a squadron vehicle. It shouldn’t have been a Russian MBT
