The KH-38ML is very much a real missile and the speed on the KH-38 hasn’t been changed, only the allowed speed of the aircraft before launching the missile. Before you could launch them at Mach 2 or whatever speed you wanted, now the max launch speed is Mach 1.5
Only thing that changed was allowed launch speed. Actual flight model of the missile didn’t, then whatever statcard says isn’t worth the ink to be printed with.
Then I rest my case. But Kh38mt is not a real missile. And it gets buffs based on concepts that were never built other than on a wooden mock-up. Other nations don’t get the same treatment when showing official real documentation.
It doesn’t get buff based on any concept, the only “unreal” part about it is the seeker, which there is a mockup with an ir seeker. Every other buff it got is because the missile is 95% KH-38ML.
Yes we have designated already that it’s based off an already existing platform. But its characteristics are not necessarily realistic considering it’s never been operational in reality and never went past just a mock up. That is the point. Nobody else at top tiers can push for already unclassified info for certain ground vehicles or air and get them passed as frequently as the buffs that are passed onto Russian things. Since any of the new SPAA have come out I haven’t seen them fix anything majorly other than just adding unnecessary necessities for their beloved pantsir. When will the long lasting problems for other nations be finally addressed?
Most recent abrams turret thread is an example of being banished into gaijins shadow realm
Honestly I feel gaijin should invest into making dedicated teams/moderators for every nation. That way not all the time everyone is left out for so many updates (poor Italy still doesn’t even have a decent top tier aa from this update which is wild)
The only characteristic that would be unknown is the IR seeker. AASM-250, KH-38MT, SPICE and PGM IR all should have the same IR seeker performance ingame. Rafale got more buffs than anything at toptier did. They just aren’t bothering to do anything about anti-airs this update because they are afraid of them being too powerful now.
However, they do ignore Israel in War Thunder and half ass their additions.
I have a feeling it’s already like that
Honestly they probably do. And btw one of your suggestions got passed 🙏
I saw :D
And yeah they likely have teams for that stuff, at least I would hope so
In the meantime I will wait and suffer with my spyder and yell at the snail to fix my p5 wobble. ( I also saw that they are passing a cromwell for Israel to the devs, could be possible that this encourages some more sub TT for us Israel mains) @Chilean_Thunder im surprised none of your suggestions have gotten passed yet for sub TT. I will continue to wait and pray
It also surprises me considering that the Chilean subtrees are the most voted haha, I still don’t understand what criteria is used to pass or not some suggestions to the developers, sometimes I think that the votes are useless
Just asking can anyone confirm with sources of any sort that P-5 uses sapphire as seeker window?
Not a sub Isreal used both the Cromwell and Comet they have them on display at an arms museum
Also I am acutely aware of the existence of the KH38ML I use the term FakeH38 to denote the MT but seeing as gaijin always rolls out buffs for the KH38s globally (as in all of them receive the buff) it still fits. Personally on that front I’m waiting for thr day we get the Sufá and Popeyes. That will be a wonderful day. RAMPAGE would also be nice
Now observe Gaijin somehow making Sufa even fatter 16D block 40, while Popeye will be reskin to a Maverick.
Actually Sufa being sidegrade to F-16C bl50 except maybe radar/missile kit doesn’t sound so outlandish - F110-GE-129 peaks at 16200kgf of thrust , while F100-PW-229, Strike Eggle engine peaks at 17000kgf on sea level. In return Sufa is going to be even heavier than block 50, bringing it back to square one and it will be carried by, my guess, Pythons 4 and maybe Derpy ER.
Sufa can also carry advanced Aim-120 models, it doesnt stuck with Derby’s only.
Given how C5 panned out, I highly doubt any next AMRAAM or ARH missile will be meaningfully better than what we have right now.
If nothing else, Gaijin will want to preserve current telephone booth nature of ARB/GRB and extra reach hardly changes anything.
