no way
Sry to be this guy but hold ur horses ppl
We can wait years for it to come like with the merkava bug reports
That’s what I was about to say the accepted it they never said they gonna implement it the dev will probably say it is too powerful to be added right now in the game they always have some excuse
So the TOR, Pantsir, CS/5 and HQ-17 all got actual AESA tracking modeled, yet the likes of the Spyder, AN/MPQ-64 and SLM TADS did not, lmao.
Hilarious situation for the Spyder in particular since, well, its a 360 AESA by design but still functions like a mechanical one.
PESA. It might look like that, but it is only one beam going very fast. It was always like that.
Both 64 and 4D also have PESA pattern, but instead of doing electronic scan in both azimuth and elevation, they do only in elevation. Azimuth is mechanical.
exMHR has electronic scan both azimuth and elevation, but it is made just like the 64/4D, so beam going fast in elevation, but slow in azimuth.
Nope, added in the recent patch -
CS/SA5, Tor-M1, HQ-17, Pantsir-S1 — tracking radars have been converted to ESA radars. This has reduced the time it takes to update data on targets in the field of view of the tracking radar.
The AN/MPQ-64 is not PESA, it is a AESA - AN/MPQ-64 Missing TWS ESA // Gaijin.net // Issues
Extended Multi-Mission Hemispheric Radar (exMHR)
Yes it was
Video from over a year ago

What they did is they changed how it behaves. In the past it’s beam competed a single scan in 0.05s, while spotting new targets and updating old. Now the beam completes scan in 1s. They added a TWS ESA, that is basically a second beam, that does not detect new targets, but update already detected one every 0.05s.
I am aware they are AESA. I am speaking about how it is in game. In game they act like PESA, moving a single beam in elevation, instead of generating multiple at once.
We do not have multiple beams in elevation in game. They just added multiple beams in azimuth, however as we can’t see them, we don’t know how exactly they behave.
To make them function like multi-beam AESA radars.
Seems to be far less than 1 second for detection of new targets now, as long as you have a track within a volume, the moment you target it, everything else will be tracked. Very much so seems like proper AESA to me.
And I’m not, its already been very well established that the western radars are not operating as designed.
It takes 1s for the beam to go from the top to bottom. Depending on the target position time will vary.
They made it to simulate radar preforming a instantaneous switch to a target position, in order to update it. It is a great simplification, but it is what it is.
When are Stinkers getting photocontrast mode :pensive:
Finally, we may be able to deal with those helis and their new IRCCM (whatever the new name is)
Redid my bug report about launching missiles not only vertically in english now, link to it: Community Bug Reporting System
Absolutely amazing to see this. Hopefully they add that soon along with the missile wobble fix rather than buffing pantsir more
I think it’s dircm and yes I’m absolutely praying for it to, cause if added it gives Israel a bit of more uniqueness to the tt meaning more people will play it
And REDFOR gets “fixes” they didn’t need while SPYDER is passed over again
it’s over i’m not playing this anymore or spending my money to buy another premium just to suck at the battles because the dev decided to make this whole nation i spent almost a year grinding on completely unplayable, i dropped only 1 nuke through 3k+ hours because i grinded this tree.
Oh God, Spyder has endured too much suffering. I hope this fix can be implemented as soon as possible to improve its playability.
Inb4 LDIRCM gets extended to cover optical seekers as well.
And just as optical seekers proved to not be a solution against helis, I highly doubt it will actually change anything there.
