Does anyone know if the I-Derby SR is meant too have an onboard active radar like the Derby? im assuming yeah. im noticing in all my server replays the I-Derby SR simply doesnt emit a beam like standard Fox 3s and in almost every launch the moment the DL portion of the radar craps out its going to IOG for most of the flight path.

Not surprised I thought the derbys were a touch weak. (Relatively speaking since the system itself is borderline useless) I only use the P5 even with the BS DIRCM being a thing

According to this site each one of this radar have 120 Az cover.
So 4 of them can scan 480 degrees?
It’s 120x90 (45+ and 45- vertically)
And still no TWS and any of AESA pluses

Oh they aint just weak, I suspect they have been modelled as some scuffed IR missile instead.
I’ve noticed through testing the I-Derby SR is the ONLY ARH missile that doesnt seem to emit any sensor cone in sensor viewer (client or server replay) but I noticed that when its tracking a target it will ONLY use IOG+DL till its within 2 miles and then turn to TRK which seems seriously incorrect for an ARH missile going pitbul and I suspect with the utterly garbage radar these missiles are straight up flying blind to a target.
If someone has the CLAWS I’de be curious to see if that exhibits similar behaviour.

IMO machbet is the SPAA that need to have the research bonus for the SPYDER
and not the sh*t-box called chaparral (and its somehow 9.7)
i wish machbet actually had it’s firerate buffed and perhaps get APDS rounds…
even tho it’s the super vulcan, without the missiles it’s just a generic m163 with few modifications which doesn’t really change your gameplay at all. same same gun capacity and whatsoever

I really worry that, given how many huge bugs this update introduced, Spyder (with it’s gluttony of bugs in it’s own right) is probably going to get pushed aside for a long time, if they ever address them at all.
I still can’t believe they changed almost nothing from Dev>Live, despite the laundry list of bug reports.
Such a shame man.
