I had an SU-25 coming at me head on around 1,000’ up 1.5 miles out. The P5 couldn’t even come close to hitting him, yet the pos Strela will knock anything out of the skies

It might just be my imagination, but doesn’t the ARH seem to hit helicopters more easily than before?
meanwhile all fixed aesa radars on a jets have ±70’ at very least

A painful recording I made awhile back and it still stands mostly true now. Firing at a Su-24 at distances of 3 to sub 1km. Currently the Namer and Machbet are my best AA for Israel. Which this video doesn’t even include the first bit where it was flying head on towards me at the start and I was missing with Pythons.

Thats why I take 2-3 python 5 and mostly derbys.
Derby is actually better at close range tail chase scenario purely because of DL giving a higher chance to lock on. Tho neither are reliable.
Python5 is only good at 7-10km headon for surprise attacks. Sometimes i even fire at 12km and then I just turn off my radar and hide. Sometimes it work.
I see the wobble hasnt been fixed yet… would it kill gaijin to give the SPYDER proper ESA scan and poll rates? They seem all to happy to add it in for Pantsirs, buks, and Chinese crap.

I’m grateful they gave the derby’s a massive buff and I’m enjoying the derby-er. But yeah the python5 is gimped badly. The fact it has that bad of a wobble and doesn’t turn nearly as much as it should when it’s renowned to have full sphere killzone capability is crazy. Should be similar to the aim-9x but correct me if I’m wrong on that. it should be going at most Mach 4 even though it gets nowhere near those speeds but hey Russia just got another missile that exceeds speeds of everything else even though they have been since the addition of the pantsir s-1.and the radar, my god. The tracking is still just picking up ghosts in the air.
genuinly it is bad that helicopters with counter IR lasers can just cause the pyhton 5 to miss

Not really, 360 degree can be done without DL and pure IOG. Data can be transmitted to the missile before launch but no evidence it can transmits data after launch.
Btw i derby sr and er needs to have better radar

Can we just find source that Rafael have claim derby er have better seeker capability than derby, therefore in game there should be some difference.
